That article is a reference to Wicca. They embody goddesses and gods in “aspects” and Degrees are measurements of your growth and pedigree. Okay but seriously look at this . They’ve not just declared themselves a sovereign nation but a separate species that they consider to be superior to humanity. And they have in their ranks multiple people who have tried to wipe out humanity before. Looking at magneto and Apocalypse. A lot of perfectly reasonable people are going to be kind of worried about that. Putting some rules in place to be an olive branch is the least they can do

@@TheCreedyouknow And how many times has a mutant related event nearly blown up the planet? Then how many of the people on that island have a civilian body count that’s somewhere in the millions? I mean at minimum magneto at one point held the entire world at gunpoint, apocalypse well he lives up to his name, etc etc And now they have declared themselves their own separate nation and they are demanding that every nation allows its citizens to be extracted. And people that commit crimes on their soil be extricated. If a mutant goes off and murders a whole bunch of people the Krakoran demands would have that person go diplomatic immunity bitches and leave free of consequences. Furthermore whole point you towards the whole X-Men versus avengers plot line where 5 of the x-men Got high on Phoenix power and took over the planet. I think it would be completely reasonable for people to look at this and go “ well that’s concerning” .

Based on Betsy’s comment to Rachel, I’m thinking about the suspicion in X-Factor’s last issue solicitation that “someone’s number is up”, could that be alluding to Rachel? However, we do see Meggan involved in the next issue cover of Excalibur, so who knows what happens next? Also, why aren’t Brian, Meggan, and Opal a throuple yet?
