This about the 5020, they don’t handle turbos because the don’t have piston oilers so they don’t handle the heat. Best to go with a 6030 or 7520 motor. That is more power than you have traction.

I have a Kubota kx 121-3 with a seized tensioner. The tensioner was on right side .The updated or revised tensioner with new part number. is interchangable with right or left side. They changed the arms to slide in the cradle. Costs 1000 dollars .They have a rebuild kit for old tensioner, but it was too far gone.

Now that I had a better view of the mast on the forklift and see a single center mounted lift cylinder I think it actually is a 3,000 Lb. capacity machine like you initially thought. Still going to be helpful.

Love My john deere 290glc but man its got to have the loudest tracks of any excavator I've ever run !!! We spray them with the fire hose on jobs we have access ro water and they are silent for about 3 or 4 hours then they start squeeking again lol I use the 3m Bluetooth headsets and just listen to Glenn beck and Dan bongino all day and try to save my hearing a little bit

In case you missed it, right around when you started grinding the paint off the idler bolt holes, your camera started to blur.

It always amazes me how much excavators wear undercarriages. I can see how a highlift or dozer would because they get so much more traveling time. I would think the rails would last forever on an excavator. Anyway hopefully you get another 500-1000 hrs before you have to mess with it again.

Great video. Have a question. What drives the sprockets ? Is it chain driven? I don't see a drive shaft and it's not direct drive like tank. Just curious. Thanks.

In the track frame Behind the sprocket and final drive there is a variable displacement hydraulic motor that slides in the back side of the final drive and that's what runs the track... the motors and hoses are all behind covers that's why you can't see them...your welcome that's something I should do a video on...thank you for asking

Not everyone is made of money it’s expensive to buy new tracks when doing this could last him just as long as the machine is gonna last or the way parts are it might be 6 months before you can get new tracks this will help get by

It’s painfully obvious in the video that you guys are shooting yourselves in the cash poke by failing to clean your track frames and inner tracks on a regular basis. This is contributing to higher than normal wear on rails and other components. Get yourselves a track shovel and homemade hoe cleaner tool and use them on a daily basis. Thanks for the video and take care. P.S. Glad you are operating your hoe and not mine.

Everything is based on perspective. You can use your time to save money or your money to save time. You can make more money you only get so much time. If time spent cleaning was spent sitting in a seat operating that might pencil out better 20min a day for 10 years at $180hr is $155000+. Trip on a dollar to pick up a dime.

When you are down, you are not making money, you are spending money. There is an old saw for that, too. Look it up. Take care.
