This video has the most important piece of info. The array chart of grades must be in the correct column with percents on the left and letter grade on the right.

Really nice explanation of how the tool works. Is there a way, however, to get it to follow more traditional rules of rounding, for example, so that 85 rounds up to 90 while 84 rounds down to 80 in its analysis? I suppose one way to do it is to add a rounded value to the test score in a column and have it look up that. There is probably a way to do it in the formula too.

Excellent. I am doing something similar with weights of cranes. Instead of Vlookup finding the next lowest crane tonnage based on load it should find the next highest tonnage for safety reasons. e.g. a load of 85t should be done by Crane A (90t rating) instead of Crane B (80t rating). Is there anyway of fooling Vlookup to look at the next highest score?
