Hi Nitin Sir, I have Excel 2016 installed, but I am not able to see Power View there, that option is not there in Add-Ins --> COM Add-ins itself, I can only see Power Pivot, Power Map but not power view.. any idea how to get Power View in Office 2016?

Power View is no longer available because Silverlight component is discontinued. No more Power View. Use Power BI.

this is awesome. just curious, with these power bi add-ins enabled, wouldn't that affect efficiency of excel? can it hold large data like MS Access? my worry here is that excel workbook with huge data sets will just crash and will just affect productivity

Hi Kather-pillar Power BI was created to REDUCE the overheads and improve performance dramatically. We used MS Access earlier because Excel could not handle large amount of data and did not allow us to create relationships between tables. That forced us to use VLOOKUP - which made matters worse. The idea is, DO NOT import data into Excel sheets at all. Create a new, blank Excel file, use Power Query to import and clean-up data and put it directly into data model. It improves performance dramatically and reduces file size drastically. You may like to see this video about how Pivot Tables and Data Models affect file sizes (and performance). Rather than delivering the knowledge asks a lot of questions to prove the audiences are ignorant and lack of working skills. Delivered very less about the PowerBI techniques which was the subject.
