This is great. Is there a way to set up this spreadsheet to print only checkmarked (True) rows? In other words, to run reports of only rows marked True? In my case a total row at the bottom is not necessary, but I just want to check and highlight rows to print while ignoring the unchecked (False) rows. Thanks!

Great tutorial. ALMOST exactly what I was looking for. I just need to know how to do this quicker on an “unlimited” log. Creating the true/false formula for each checkbox will take forever.

In another tutorial they explain that this method can be used for adding limited "check boxes", however if you are looking to add them to a long set of rows, then the best option would be to use the VBA.

While this is technically a table, this is not a table as specified in Excel. You didn't format the rows & columns as a table (Home > Format As a Table). If you did have a formatted table in Excel, the header row would have filter drop down arrows. And using a checkbox in an Excel formatted tables, then these checkboxes do not function correctly. Sure they work until you sort or filter any columns values. Test this yourself to see what happens when you have an Excel formatted table (Home > Format As a Table). Then simply filter some results. For example, the table header row drop down allows you to sort by many methods. Once you sort or filter any data, the checkboxes don't function correctly and refer to the wrong cells once you change the order of anything in the able. So this method ONLY works if you have a static table that you NEVER filter, sort by columns, or hide rows. Try sorting the "table" you made in this video by Z to A using the Product column. Now try checking the checkbox and you'll see the checkbox after sorting refers to the wrong line thus making it useless to use in a table.
