Hi Randy, great to see another POS from scratch. Your videos really are amazing. I recently used your POS with inventory which works brilliantly, so well in fact they have asked if they can use it on 2 machines at the same time. As I'm sure you have already guessed, the issue is having live data, previous orders, customers, inventory level, etc. on both workbooks. Just wondering if there is any video that could help me with achieving this or has anyone else on here found a way. Many thanks

Hi Randy. I have learnt a lot from your videos. I have become adept at VBA. I only have one question. why would I choose to make an Excel POS over alternatives such as microsoft power apps? Yeah I know Power apps is not free but you can still navigate your way through even with a free developer account.( it has full features) its also easy to share the application, use it on multiple devices including phones and tablets. its also low code and a lot easier than VBA. could you consider making tutorials on the same?

Hi Jack, thanks so much for your comment and feedback. As power apps gets more powerful, I will certainly be looking more into that. I have looked at it in the past however there were key features that were still not developed yet. I will certainly consider it and take a look at the latest version. I love Excel and VBA, but what i honestly don't get is why someone would not use a proper database app (like Access, Filemaker, etc) to do this ? Also, I understand Excel runs into trouble as the file size grows, as the vba gets complicated, and as the calcs become nested. Thoughts on this ?

We want to build applications on platforms that people are already comfortable using. We are bringing the software to them instead of them having to come to us. I hope this helps and thanks so much.

Hello Randy, Sorry for expressing my concern here, but your customer support is not very responsive. Indeed, I am enrolled in the Mentorship Program, which could not be automatically renewed and was suspended on 06/30 due to an issue with my card.
