I did not know we could modify a table in Excel direclyt, I was coming back and forth between Excel and Power BI to calculate table...…….…. Thank you !! One tip: add "stratified sample" somewhere and your video will get more views :)

Is there a way to not sort the data using the SAMPLE function....meaning data should get extracted in the same order as the original table? Also would be easier to use DAX studio so we can see the screen tips ☺️

Yes, but if the table is in Excel it would be easier to use Power Query. If it is in the Data Model, use what you see in this video but just use the ALL Function. Can I automate code in DAX query using filter conditions from excel cell. I mean user don't have to write code every time. Instead they select criteria and table get extracted accordingly. Thank you

No. PivotTables, Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX all require a refresh. The only way to automatically update solution when you change criteria is Excel Formulas and / or VBA.

ExcelIsFun I mean of course all of them need a refresh for that I can record a Marco and create a button for the user. But I was asking about the process of linking the user input from drop down in Excel sheet with the DAX query.
