I just tried both of those in my latest kiln opening. The lav mist was nice but not spectacular. What cone do you fire it to?

@@PerrinPottery I fire to cone 6, somewhere in my videos I show my exact kiln schedule. Basically my elements are new right now, so I have a top temp hold that I will take away once they are more worn. So top temp 2218, 8 min hold drop to 2130 30 min hold for any pinholes, then fast cool.

I saw your video with the poor plate. It was such a pretty combo, but I am scared to try it now. I wonder if it was the expansion of the white being different enough from the runny blue glazes to cause dunting.
