You can dim the interior ambient lighting by pressing and sliding the color you want. Up is brighter, and down is dimmer. Also, I turn off my auto-dimming headlights because they flash other drivers often. Oddly enough, my 2020 Escape Hybrid had auto-dimming headlights that worked great. You would think they’d use the same system.

This beast looks good inside and out. But 2 things…not sure how well those door handles would work during our winter ice storms in North Dakota. Not to mention how fingerprinted and scratched up that door handle material and surrounding area will be after a few years of ownership. Solid review as always Nolan
@PrimeAutotainment3 жыл бұрын
I wondered that too. They could easily not work well. Especially when regular doors and door handles get frozen shut, I can’t imagine these lol. I’ve lived through that in South Dakota so we’re basically neighbors lol. Thank you!
@getoffamylan68443 жыл бұрын
@@PrimeAutotainment As a Utah resident, I have wondered about frozen doors in a LOT of modern cars, Mustang or not, electric or not. I wonder: could you just remote start the car and blast the heat until the ice softens?
@tylerpubben42163 жыл бұрын
I live in Canada and had the car during a major winter storm that no place in the US could ever hope to see other than Alaska. There was about 2cm of ice on the door. Opened just fine. My neighbor broke the door handle off his Tundra trying to get it open. As far as ice is concerned, its a much better system than the traditional handle since the plunger is isolated from the ice and is pushing out rather than pulling on a flimsy plastic handle.

Took delivery on 18 February 2021, I have been back to the dealership seven times for updates and recalls. I love the vehicle the OTA and Ford software is a disaster. I am currently six OTA upgrades behind with no Blue Cruise. The one pedal drive has disengaged with a warning after the fact. We'll made attractive vehicle with sub-par software.

Thanks for watching! Yes that's correct about the headlights..the Premium and GT have the top rated ones. It's possible they will change it down the road..but as of right now that's how they have the lights configured.

why are fog lights like never included on vehicles anymore? They are so useful.
@PrimeAutotainment3 жыл бұрын
I'm not sure..I believe I ready from Lexus a couple of years ago they were saying the headlights are "good enough" where they don't need fog lights lol. They're still nice to have..
@tylerpubben42163 жыл бұрын
Fog lights were used because they were mounted low with a very horizontal beam pattern that prevented back-scatter during foggy conditions while also providing much better ditch illumination than normal headlights. Projector headlights do the same thing due to the incredibly sharp cutoff line on the lights but instead of being mounted low and limiting their reach, they are mounted at normal height and have better reach. Projectors also manage incredible ditch illumination because of the much better optics. So basically, fog lights are worse at lighting up the road in foggy conditions than modern projector headlights and have absolutely no advantages on ditch illumination.
@matty10533 жыл бұрын
@@tylerpubben4216 Personally some of the best fog lights are the LED's on the RAM 1500/Jeep Cherokee... they light up a straight line for quite a few feet (across a 5 lane road at least). They are also cornering lights. Which should be standard. Projectors don't always get light on the side up close.

Anyone who cares for the EV Credits in 2022 needs to understand that the Mach-E is not technically an SUV. It's classified as a Small Station Wagon by the EPA, and would therefore fall under the $55k MSRP limit to qualify.
@PrimeAutotainment3 жыл бұрын
The government website regarding the tax credits and any potential phase outs has every trim level (above it below $55k) as qualifying for the full tax credit. Where do you find a $55k limit?
@got_logic13203 жыл бұрын
@@PrimeAutotainment I'm referring to the 2022 US "Build back better" bill that is currently in the works, not the ev credit for this year. You can read the EV section for the new restrictions. Many have preorders that aren't getting here till 2022, so by then the new bill will pass and the limits will be in place.

@@PrimeAutotainment NP, and to clarify, limit for cars is 55k, suv and trucks are 80k. It's just unfortunate the Mach E is considered a car by the EPA so we kinda got shafted whereas the Tesla Model Y would qualify as SUV.
