I bought the Razer Blackshark V2X USB a while back. Sound quality aside from gaming purposes is actually not bad. But mine came faulty and I was too late before I noticed it. The microphone volume was super quiet even with the microphone gain set to 100%. There was no audio processing in windows turned on when testing this. I tested it on my friends pc, and the other 2 pcs my brothers have and it was the same. I apparently learned that there was also other people online who had the same issue as me. Until this day I don't have a fix for it and just recently the mic completely gave out and is not giving any type of signal anymore. Keep that in mind buyers, I've been using this USB version headset for about 5 months now and I am very veryyyy careful with my stuff at home

@@TheNetGuy My system had no mic boost feature like the others so I just had to leave with the faulty and switch over to an earphone and external mic setup

@yevolution shoot. Is it the motherboard onboard audio? Sometimes if you visit the manufacturer’s site they’ll have updated drivers and apps that allow mic boost. Many analog mics, even expensive ones need more gain than default.
