I'm not a magician so I might not be a good measure of how good the act actually is. But Penn is a magician. And the way he literally jumps out of his chair to give standing ovations at the end of the act says it all... Just incredible.

Totally agree I myself perform professionally and can totally understand Penn standing. It's not just how beautiful the routine is but knowing how many hours and days even weeks or months went into each individual move and the dedication it takes to achieve something like this. Allot of people laypeople with a good magic consultant could pull off some of the acts I see. but this is something you can't teach in a short time it's a life time of dedication and hard work truly beautiful to watch

Shin Lim and Eric Chien have redefined magic as we knew it. Long gone are the top hats, white gloves, bunnies, and wands. Today's magic is in your face, mystifying feats that make the impossible seem real. It is truly mind-blowing what they do! One of the things I like best about Eric Chien is just how incredibly likable he is, and how he seems just as dumbfounded as the rest of us when he's performing. He is amazing!

I knew Penn was excited watching Eric doing his "Unbelievable Magic. It goes without saying, "A Great Magician doesn't need to say a word when they're this good! Eric's performances doing Magic on AGT, I thought he was as good as Shin Lim. It's mind-blowing that he didn't win on AGT when he was on. I loved every second of his performance. XO

😑lol he's fast but you can see him pulling the blue cards from underneath, and the red from on top... especially on the last blue card. They were not red on the left to begin with... He's insane with the slight of hand speed but this isn't illusionary or "magic" in any way... just too fast for most people.

Seen this trick a dozen times and it never ceases to amaze me. U need to watxh it 10 times to even see everything. Only annoying this is how the host didn't immediately get Penn's reaction and asked Amanda first. Hosting 101, maybe get the dudes reaction first who literally JUMPED out of his seat in admiration

Eric Chen was on Fool Us, in which he had the opportunity to perform in front of Penn and Teller. He did this same trick and let's just say Penn and Teller were impressed with his showmanship. For Penn to see this trick again, you can tell he's looking for how it's done. He is always honest and fair when he talks to another magician, and he knows what it takes to do those tricks or illusions.

I have seen him on KZbin performing this exact act before, nothing new from him. I'm sorry to everyone else who loved his act, but it's old and not new, yes his sleight of hand is exceptional but the act is already well practiced and polished. The same can be said for Kevin James' act as that was an identical performance to the one performed on AGT. This one off special was clearly setup for Penn and his buddies. There have been plenty more magicians on BGT that could have performed much more superior acts than some of the other contestants.
