I'm not a magician so I might not be a good measure of how good the act actually is. But Penn is a magician. And the way he literally jumps out of his chair to give standing ovations at the end of the act says it all... Just incredible.

Totally agree I myself perform professionally and can totally understand Penn standing. It's not just how beautiful the routine is but knowing how many hours and days even weeks or months went into each individual move and the dedication it takes to achieve something like this. Allot of people laypeople with a good magic consultant could pull off some of the acts I see. but this is something you can't teach in a short time it's a life time of dedication and hard work truly beautiful to watch

​@@jamesoconnormagicianThe surpring fact is although he probably did practice for hours and hours, Eric performed a similar act back in 2018 in the magician olympics and that was done only after two practices. This guy is a hard worker but also a genius.

I wonder whether Cyril and David Blaine can take part on AGT or BGT? Both were super magicians other than cards like piercing his hand into a solid glass cage to retrieve something, or "resurrect a dead bird" or making a card stucked on the other side of the glass etc.

@@lokmanhakim7176 in term of skill, Yu hojin is definitely top tier, but in term of the whole act, Yu still falls behind Shin and Eric. Eric and Shin are alone in their own class. No one ever come close.

I knew Penn was excited watching Eric doing his "Unbelievable Magic. It goes without saying, "A Great Magician doesn't need to say a word when they're this good! Eric's performances doing Magic on AGT, I thought he was as good as Shin Lim. It's mind-blowing that he didn't win on AGT when he was on. I loved every second of his performance. XO

Did he fool him? I guess that's what we all want to know. I think Penn knows the art very well and maybe he did and maybe he didn't. From his reactions all i got was someone giving major props to there craft. Who cares though this blew all our tiny little minds. Im pretty sure in one way or another it blew Penns head off as well. Best thing i have ever seen. Full stop!

😑lol he's fast but you can see him pulling the blue cards from underneath, and the red from on top... especially on the last blue card. They were not red on the left to begin with... He's insane with the slight of hand speed but this isn't illusionary or "magic" in any way... just too fast for most people.

Eric Chen was on Fool Us, in which he had the opportunity to perform in front of Penn and Teller. He did this same trick and let's just say Penn and Teller were impressed with his showmanship. For Penn to see this trick again, you can tell he's looking for how it's done. He is always honest and fair when he talks to another magician, and he knows what it takes to do those tricks or illusions.
