I just love watching this episode of Sonny and Cher. I wish they would have more of these Christmas shows on. They should have a DVD of them. And also a CD of Cher singing Christmas carols. I think she just don’t want to be there or she was old enough to tell her parents to stop embarrassing her like when sonny put his arm around her while his was singing Rudolph the red nose reindeer u could see Chaz trying to push away from him so I’m guessing she was at the stage in her life where she don’t like her parents embarrassing her and hugging her and stuff some kids are like that o was like that when I was 13 I don’t like being see with my parents one my mum drop me off at school I say bye than five minutes later she scream out I love you sweetheart and one of my teacher walk by they know my mum and they say to me well Taylah ain’t u going to tell your mum you love her is was embarrassing everyone hear so I did and went and hid in the bathroom haha 😂 but than I got older 25 now and I don’t care if we are out and public and I’m hugging my mum or dad and they say they love me cause I will say it back as I realise now life is to short like I will hug them and embarrass each other haha 😢

I think the look that you see on her face might be her watching everything that goes on behind the cameras. It can be a little distracting at a young to hit you mark, know your lines, cues, song lyrics, watching the director, watching your camera, which for this show I think they used three or four. All in all I think she did a good job. Also keep in mind that she attended school off the lot so its not like she was there full time. I used to love watching this show before and after they divorced. Brings back great memories of a TV era gone by.

Little chastity probably was growing tired of the constant spotlight. She might’ve had to endure a lot of preparation to have the show be ready for television broadcasting. Child stars are oftentimes victims to rigorous demands that even a adult would find difficult to tolerate on a constant basis of instruction.

He was a good father to Chastity, in fact when Sonny and Cher were in divorce proceedings Sonny wanted to take Chastity away from Cher's custody, he thought (maybe he was very upset with Cher) that Cher was an unfit mother who couldn't take care of the child.

I agree with the person that said they are glad Sonny didn't live to see his daughter go off the deep end and mutilate herself. I feel sorry for the parents also. They're crushed and embarrassed inside. They wanted a normal boy or girl and dreamed about having one some day. Then they finally get their wish and everything goes great until one day the child develops a serious mental prob and does something drastic like having a sex change. The comment I read said that they want to know how these people that are religious and who have had the surgery...I too would love to hear how they feel about saying God made a mistake and that they know better than he does? Its true also that the Bible says that no gay will inherit the kingdom of heaven. So im kind of curious what they say about that. I dont care what they do. As long as they don't do any of the gay stuff in front of me or my family im fine with them doing what they want.
