Shunting staff is exempted from exchange of all right Signal. Only in case of any danger we have to show Stop Hand signal

How a pointsman show all right signal from opposite site when line no 1 is occupied by BCN nd through train is passing on line no 2...nd when there's no foot overbridge..

There are wayside stations where FOB is not available, As a railway employee we are managing it. Even passengers, if any, they have to manage somehow in absence of FOB. Rule is not giving any exemption in case of stabled stock. But I agree fully with you that it’s a problem for the staff to exchange in such situations. Thank you 😊

At curves it is not given as compulsory, But for practical safety point of view LPs and Gds do Exchange All Right Signal

As a SM - it is very common doubt In case of stabled load we are not able to watch the train completely but still we should come out and observe the train as much as possible. This is the spirit of the rule. Means we both (SM & PMan) should stand to watch the train whatever possible.

Sir one doubt. In a three line station(1-main line, 2-loop lines). If loop line-2 is occupied by a train and main-line is set for through-signal is POINTSMAN to exchange the all right signal by standing in between those two trains(main-line and loop-line 2) or the same rule will be applicable as you mentioned in SM case.

When train is passing in MPS through a station 110kmph is it mandatory to exchange ARS by guard to SM by coming outside / Opening door or can we acknowledge through window, since practically it is danger to open complete door because if any sudden jerk comes we will fell down.

While passing through a station TMR shall exchange ARS to station staff through window, door not to be opened at any speed. For that purpose only rule 4.42.9 is provided, because AC SLR window is fixed with glass.

Answer is Both side, Why it’s important, Suppose Pointsman is showing Danger Hand Signal on the Off Side. That’s why it is important. Practically whatever possible- Do the best of you.
