Exciting 7 Days on the South Island of New Zealand. We Spent Our Money and Time Well!

The last 7 days of our New Zealand trip were the best! Our itinerary started at Queenstown, followed by Lake Tekapo, Mt. Cook and finaly Christchurh Airport.
We enjoyed the thrilling Shotover Jetboat, enjoyed the peace of Lake Tekapo, where mesmerized by the scenic helicopter flight, the enjoyable scenic Milford Road and we took our best hiking trail ever, the "Hooker Valley Trail". This trail is famous for a reason, the views are just amazing.
I was able to make a few drone shots along the way and again I was suprised by the views from above.
Eventhough Milford Sound is famous because of the cruise you can take along the fjords, we didn't choose that one. The ride to Milford Sound was already very nice.
We spent a whole day at Lake Tekapo and ended up at a salmon farm nearby. That was a fun experience, besided feeding the fish you can enjoy fresh salmon in the little restaurant.

Oh, you were so close to the hooker valley lake. Jammer vind ik wel. I was there on the 22nd of November and did the Heli hike on the 26th, when it was canceled for the 23rd thanks to the rain. The salmon farm was a good pit stop. I ate lunch 2 day and each time the salmon was great. In fact I bought truffle smoke salmon and I brought it to the states. Ik zal komend weekend flink smullen samen met me neefje over a glas of Cloudy Bay Sauvignon Blanc. Lake Takepo was beautiful as well. I spent one week entirely in the south island and that part of New Zealand is my favorite.i also did the paragliding and similarly to shot over jet I did Kjet. New Zealand is a spectacular place to visit and I would love to do it again.
