Nice one Josie, I’ve had my t4 for 15 years now and I’m looking to replace it this year… I’m thinking crafter too, be interesting to see how you get on with it, I’m a bit nervous of the size with parking on the south coast, heigh restriction posts in car parks etc but that didn’t seem a problem for you there 👍

You have to calibrate it on every flight and set it home location (Where you are) before you put it up in the air.

1st of all I love your energy it's infectious let me tell ya ha. I'm also in the process of getting a DJI mavic and I'll be sure to read the instructions lol. I was recently at Looe and would suggest Looe Country Park just outside (video out tomorrow). .It was a well kept gorgeous campsite and a lot more coastal views and gorgeous stops along the area of Whitsand Bay.

you can change the height it goes to for return to home. normally they come out of the box set to 40m. so when you hit that return to home button the first thing it does it go up to the altitude you have set it to and then will go back to where you took off from and set it's home to.

It may sound boring but I would advise reading and following the drone code when flying your drone and the rules and laws when it comes to flying drones, especially if you are going to upload footage to public viewing sites such as KZbin, where the authorities such as the CAA can also view it. Just some advise from a guy who has flown drones for 4 years.

You can still push the window button down and up and it will still work.you just need to order the little cover to go over it.

It's very naughty to fly a drone without knowing what you can and can't do. This is why they are heading to stop drones. Great van 👍

You can set the return to home height, so if you are lower than the preset height, it will fly to the desired height before landing..👍🏼
