Still using an i3 Mega S to this day, I'm glad to see that the Kobra 3 returns to a solid/metal look after years of producing very 'plastic' printers. By the way, I'm still happy with this i3, which, with a few hardware and software upgrades, prints high quality at modern printer speeds. Early Bird ordered!

Does look like its improved over the K2 series, how much is a need to know.. As my K2 is difficult (and pricey) to keep alive.. Easy to see why they soo quickly abandoned them for the K3.. Probably just going with another brand... (Here's hoping Bambu Labs makes an equivalent of the Max) 🃏

It can print multiple colors on every layer but it has to switch colors which means it has to change it like most multi color printers. Old color filament string gets cut off, then it retracts, the new color moves into the hot end and then it pushes the new color through until the old color is completly removed from the hot end and just the new color comes out. That filament of the old color with little bit of the new color is waste and called poop. It will be thrown away afterwards.
