Exciting Update 2024: Train to Run wef 20 July

With Completion of Sangaldan Reasi section, only section remaining which is Reasi to Katra, it is the section where the Tunnel T1 is waiting to be completed. The location of this tunnel is below Ma Vaishnav Devi temple, this location is extremely delicate as major boundry thrust passes through tunnel T1, the situation has further aggravated with the presence of big water body (aquifer) above tunnel T1, whose water continuously seeps and due to which the benching work is very slow.

We are still awaiting the latest update on tunnel T-1 of USBRL project. Reports have emerged that 15thAug 2024 was the revised completion date. Any way that seems impossible but atleast we will come to know what is progress since 30th June 2024 when it was 100 meters benching, 200 meters invert @ 300 meters lining pending.
