Max Carr korean live performances use MR. It’s not entirely instrumental live but the highlighted lines are recorded, just for them to take a lil break for breathing, and to put echo and emphasis on specific lines :) they did sang live in AMAs, but the audio was louder than their stage mics. So I think that made it look lipsynced. I hope you watch more performances of them! They’re really amazing :)

How does the camera man understand this song better than those "professionals" at the AMAs? Not to mention BTS hardly had time to rehearse here and they still managed to capture some important moments like Jimin's cute close up at @2:02 whereas in the AMAs they completely missed it. The vocals and the raps slayed so hard in this performance. Jimin and Jk sounded exactly like how they would in the studio version but LIVE. The stage is not big enough for Tae's voice tho lol.
