Dear policeman: You're not a peace officer. Your job is not Law Enforcement. Those are euphemisms. You don't keep the peace. You routinely initiate conflicts where, otherwise, no conflict would have been. You are an agent by which your employer uses violence to enforce a monopoly on law de facto. The vast majority of the disputes that you initiate on behalf of your employer are also adjudicated by your employer, where the plaintiff, the judge, the antagonist (that's you) and the only witness (also you), all represent the same party, and, since no corpus delicti, mens rea or acts reus can be produced, doesn't technically qualify to be heard according to its own "laws". Your employer is indistinguishable from a criminal cartel. You do not serve us. When the matter of whether or not you have a duty to protect the subjects of your employer has been brought before one of your employer's courts, your employer has decided that you do not. But, when you are charged with the task of using deadly force to apprehend a person who has incurred no liability for damages to anyone, you are obligated to obey. Everything I've written, here, is literally true. I understand that you can't believe that, but, once you strip away all the obfuscation and rationalizations, nothing else remains. So, you see, even if you always do your job, as you believe it to be, to what you believe to be the best of your ability, you cannot be a good cop. There is no such thing as a good cop because what cops do is, by necessity of its nature, bad.

This is the most profound truth written in a comment section that I have seen to date. It is refreshing to see your comment and many others in response to this video I did have a message in harmony with yours. In the world where common sense seems to be not so common gosh it is just a breath of fresh air to read yours among the others. I cannot help but ask myself where are these people who are intelligent enough to eloquently apply Pros 2 cursor but somehow are missing from society in my everyday travels. I know you guys have to experience the same thing I do encountering mental midgets daily, don't you? Thank you for taking the time to express these gems hopefully someone out there in the audience can benefit as I have from your truth spoken. Warmest regards

@Anonymous Anonymous Yep, there's 2 things you never want to go to jail for. 1 is a convicted cop, 2 is someone who harms kids..inmates will accept just about any crimes but those 2. and if they just happen to be both..look out. Prison justice takes over. Look at the guy who killed Dahmer, he was already serving life, Wisconsin doesn't have the death penalty (or didn't at that time, I dunno if they ever did or not) so he had nothing to lose.

Believe me, cops do this all the time. Even if they cant keep it, they take it because it inconveniences the owner and makes it hard for them to get it back. Then durning all this time, cops take their good ol time investigating were the money came from to purchase the equipment by the owner. Not only that, but the equipment that was seized mysteriously becomes damaged and never returned in the same condition that it was when it was seized. And then, the owner of the equipment has to sue the city for new equipment and damages which can take a year or two to get reimbursement for damaged items. And, pay attorney Bill's to file the lawsuit. So in the end, cops still win, and it's all because of pride.

Talk about organized crime. So, they can walk in and seize your property and not even charge you with a crime. And they can do with your property as they please, like sell it from their own homes as they owned it all along. I don't care if it's a law or not, it's criminal and it's wrong and the bastards know it's wrong. How do laws like this get on the books in the first place?

More like our Government is grossly corrupt, top to bottom, and anyone trying to become a politician, is looking to cash in.
@eddievazquez68748 жыл бұрын
As far as the ring and cash is concerned, if the prosecutor has no personal knowledge of their seizure, then, he is lying. Whether he knows it or not. These kinds of laws cannot be allowed to exist because they are open gates for corruption. And any legislator that supports these kinds of laws should be run out of office.

I left my legally carried blackjack impact weapon in my wife’s car as it fell out of my pocket and she was pulled over in Illinois and they seized her car and charged her with “illegal use of a weapon” and in court they kept accidentally saying gun and she got one year of supervision and lost her car for good. I have a ccw in Wisconsin with Illinois reciprocity but they wanted her car and they got it. The fight in court was more costly than the $6k blue book on her car. 2019 has been a hassle

yeah they do it with cars all the time in Norfolk, VA they even have a podium/auction block setup at the impound yard where you go to pick up your vehicle IF you get out of jail in time and IF you have the EXUBERENT amount of money they want to get it back. its like $150 the first day and $80 every day after that and that was like 10 years ago when i had to deal with it. but lets just say you're living on low income and driving a beater and you get locked up for 3 weeks 20*$80=$1600 + the $150 for the 1st day that's $1750 plus you had to bail yourself out and missed work. where are you suppose to come up with the cash??? and at that point is it even worth it. well thats what they hoped you would say... they are LEGALLY STEALING CARS in norfolk, VA. fuck the police

This is why cops should be required to have video & audio recording devices turned on & recording whenever they engage with anyone for anything. Or better yet, since they like to play dumb & accidentally turn off recording devices when they know they are about to commit a crime, all citizens, whether on public or private property should have the right to record both video & audio when/if the police interact with them for their own personal safety. We have a fundamental right to protect ourselves from an oppressive government that will violate the law & our rights at the drop of a hat, on a whim, even violate the basic standards of morals & ethics that a decent, law bidding citizen would have because they feel like their authority is being challenged or they are 100% in the wrong & make up shit after the fact to cover their ass.
