Just upgraded from the mc6-mc7, and im shocked at how much better the rain performance is, on my old mc6. The mc6 felt good but still slipery in the rain, while the mc7 feels completely planted, i tried and couldnt even get the tail out through corners the way the mc6 easily let loose. Great tyres!

my car came originally with the mc5, performance is great but really lousy side walls (very very prone to swelling, in fact 3 out of the 4 tyres swell). upgraded to the mc6 the moment it was available and by far the mc6 is the tyres i'm the most satisfied with, wet and dry grip is very good really well balanced performance. can't wait to try these MC7 when they're widely available...by the way whats the treadwear on the mc7?

Personally I own the MC6 it's actually really loud when you're going slow as it picks up a lot of sand but on the dry the performance is insane it grips insanely, for example I used to be able to corner at the One U tunnel at around 140kmh now I can do it around 155kmh. Cons, these tyres are absolutely shit in the rain, in fact I don't feel much of a difference in the rain

The v601 is a great tyre as well but from what I heard is that it wears out pretty quickly and may sometimes struggle to grip on wet roads 👍🏻

There needs to be more variety of sizes in 17” dia tyres 205/40x17 and 215/50x17 are not enough that are currently available. I need 215/45x17 MaxContact7 to replace my MC6 tyres….Edit:I do see other tyres will become available from that booklet, which is nice to know.
