In the cooler months, they will turn down the "splash" at the end. Most of the water that gets on you is sprayed from the sides. They adjust it seasonally.

I think I like it better in the daytime too. The lights at night are way awesome, but at night there's too many blank dark spots in between they never finished.

The story SHOULD have been great. This is Disney. Yes, “for a thrill ride like this” too. It worked for Splash Mountain and that’s why it will always be one of the most popular rides in history.

The story line is actually really good for transitioning rides. You get to reminisce what splash mountain was with what it is now. And no major drama to deter you from not wanting to go again. Super chill fun ride. Thanks Kirk for sharing.

It’s clear the imagineers of the 80s had no idea how to make a good ride. Tiana took everything that didn’t work about Splash Mountain, mainly the overt racism, and made this masterpiece. It’s an improvement in almost every way. Disney can do no wrong. I can’t find a single thing wrong with this re-do!

They could have the animatronics spread out a little bit better so each scene gave you something to look at. Easy fix.

The scene at the end is animated nicely, but the song is only so-so. It's not one you will keep singing all day afterwards. Nothing will ever compare to the Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah ending that it used to have.

Your video is great. Thanks for the Ride! Unfortunately the ride kinda sucks. This is a lame side story, like a little "golden story book" that doesn't even contain any real plot, and is made for toddlers. If it was a ride about the movie plot (like a lot of successful Disney rides are), that would have been better. If it even included Dr. Facilier tied to the scary drop, that would have been better too.
