I have met him once, when I used to be a photographer for events. He is so humble and down to earth. And I noticed he speaks and gesticulates the same way he does in the movies. Devanand is my favorite star from my childhood. I am now 78 years-old and still like Devanand as much I liked him during my younger days. I used to repeatedly watch his films in theaters in Mumbai in Lamington Road areas. and Opera House and Roxy Theatres. Those days will never come back. It was a altogether different type of thrill and enjoyment. Those days TVs were not at homes. My big big Salute to Devsahab.

Dilip Kumar Rajesh Khanna Amitabh Bachchan the list goes on and on but in Today's cinema you don't see talent all you see if someone is related to someone so they are in the Bollywood industry Talent sucks stories suck and music suck. Dev saab's exuberance is an inspiration. He had to often repeat anecdotes in interviews, but had this amazing knack of breathing fresh life while describing those incidents. In contrast, the interviewer sounded dull, lifeless, with a canned set of questions that seemed like a checklist being ticked off from her end. There was no engaging from her end whatsoever. Great pity, having such a rare honour of interviewing such a collossus, she didn't appear to realize his worth. Not everyone can be a Simi Garewal and do full justice to an interview. On the plus Dev Saab compensated 200%, thanks a ton for the upload 🙏
