Zac is a man of his word. I am 6 months in recovery and sent an e-mail to him about my story. He gave me resources to read to help in my recovery. He is serious about helping those in need. I respect him so much. God bless him and Release Recovery.

As a recovering alcoholic/addict for the past 37 years, I think this podcast was a prayer and help for so many suffering from addiction. Keep doing what you are doing Zac. I'm so very happy for you. You are such a power of example. And at times, we may be the only example of the Big Book or what recovery can do. As we both know, we can't keep it unless we give it away. God bless you.

This might be the most moving, relevant, heartfelt podcast I have heard. Kudos to you M & B, for hosting Zac. ZAC Clark is brave beyond believe. He speaks the truth. Even though his story has a positive outcome, don’t think he doesn’t have hard moments. With people like ZAC Clark, we can get through anything. Thank you to you 3!

Great job, guys! Your interview was fantastic and you asked a lot of hard questions to the very inspiring, humble and wise Zac Clark. As someone who left my partner who became an addict, I just want to say that it is absolutely okay to leave an addict and exhibit that tough love when you need to. Addiction is very complex and affects so many people. I would love to see an interview where the spouses of addicts are interviewed - and/or those who do choose to leave like Zac's ex-wife. I am still recovering from the trauma of living with an addict. I left three years ago. Living with someone with a split personality (the person you fell in love with and the selfish, reptilian, cold, mean, lying, addict) can really mess with you and cause you to question your entire reality and yourself. Although I know we must stay and support the addict as much as we can, I just wanted to voice that it is commendable and just as hard in some cases for the partner to have tough love and leave. It can totally destroy the partner who leaves as you are actively breaking your partner's heart and your own in the process. However I like what Zac said about there being two types of people in this life, "the humbled and those not yet humbled". Despite the downfall it has been a very humbling experience for myself as well and I was able to help my ex in leaving him. I knew the only way he would heal was to leave him and now he is putting his life back together. Sadly, there is no way to come back romantically. The trauma and mistrust cuts me too deep, but we are slowly reworking a friendship and I never gave up on him as a person as I knew he could heal without me there to enable him. Each situation is unique and I'm grateful Zac does what he does. He is changing the world, one person at a time.

I lost my husband to addiction and as much as this was hard to watch, it gives me hope that there are people like Zac fighting to make help available to everyone.

It was really powerful hearing those stories. I have much respect for Zac after hearing that he's using his story to now help people that have similar experiences to the road of recovery. It must truly be frustrating & tough to see people holding onto these addictions time and time again. But I give him props for trying to be patient & walk alongside them and hopefully see them through it all. And love that Mike & Bryan continues to have these tough conversations to hopefully reach someone else that's listening.

Keep the language clean. You don’t have to use the F word. It shows a lack of vocabulary.and class
@cookiesarelikecream3 жыл бұрын
Shut up. Saying the f word has NOTHING to do with someone’s knowledge of vocabulary. It’s slang. As for class, using curse words doesn’t make someone classy. It’s how you treat others. And these are 3 very classy men.
