I absolutely LOVE these tours because you have a superior wealth of knowledge on these properties as well as the locations and I enjoy soaking it all in. I just have one request and I hope I don't sound ungrateful, just to angle the camera a little lower as you drive up so it doesn't look like it's pointing towards the sky too much. Great, Christophe! This is something I really miss in other driving videos. This was fascinating, thank you. Most expensive neighborhoods are occupied by older folks, who have finally acquired enough money to live there but I'm assuming Bel-Air/Beverly Hills and other exclusive neighborhoods might be different since folks can become successful at a younger age. Hence the playgrounds AND the golf facilities. :)

Looks like a nicer area of South Orange County with mostly very bland Mediterranean architecture. It has a very "corporate" look. The high-end mid-century areas of Palm Springs are much more inspirational and creative.

Guys this has nothing to do with our friend Christopher's video but ..... In general dont be fooled by the calmness of these streets . Its a karen infested area , a lot of the residents are extremely paranoid so if you are walking in bel air or areas like it the police will be called on you out of suspicion. Even if you are a resistant or know someone living there until you can prove you are part of the neighborhood . Increase in crime and homelessness plus the wealth gap has left its negative mark on all ppl . I rather be a average guy in a average area financially than a rich guy in a poor area ( los angeles ).

Upper-income real estate built over 60-80 years ago in LA/SoCa was a bit more well done than this 1980s-1990's section of Bel Air. By contrast, housing & areas for the working class or middle-class (such as 1940s sections of the Valley or the 1950's tracts of northern OC) were instantly outdated. They're sort of like fins on Cadillacs. Actually, standards in the past were so iffy, parts of even Beverly Hills have utility lines that were never buried. So the history of land development in SoCa has interesting contradictions.
