+Patrizio Busolin Tom is busy with AVA stuff. Just let it go. Yes, Tom's a great artist, and yes better than Skiba but he's not into Blink anymore. Neighborhoods was a fantastic album but was not really punk in anyway, just some songs. So this is kind of great that we're getting both AVA and Blink with Blink getting more pop punk than their last efforts. In my opinion Skiba is a fantastic choice for Blink, he can get back the pop punk sound that we all love.

+Avinandan Biswas tom is actually horrible live. i've never heard anyone who performs as bad as he does on stage. He writes good stuff, but just can't perform. it's a win lose for blink. Plus it sounds like he's not officially "Gone" from blink. They acknowledged that they still talk all the time, and he'll probably play shows with them in the future too. They just don't get along well in the studios or something. Tom and Marks styles really conflict each others now. That 5 or 6 year hiatus really hurt them. They never really recovered their chemistry after that.

nothing against this new dude . but. blink was only about tom to me (travis was a draw but he is like bonus genius drummer). we have heard plus 44(pretty ghastly and part of a different genre in truth) , we have heard angels and airwaves and box car. (both different in style and pretty good - they were real projects that created there own vibes - plus 44 was the worst of blink from later albums and even worse than that.... that sing at 1:10 sounds like that - if blink is now just Tom and that popy simple plan stuff i am out. Blink did sell out - they made great punk(style) (not true punk) - fast riff rock angst songs - at the start with two stand out tracks that gained a cult following in carosel and dammit - most of those fans also like the other labum tracks - there were raw and edgy - obviously they sold out with all the small things (some say it was a piss take- well its still attracting the same mass audience) so yeah like many they did - there niche was so small. it s not like indie rock that can maintain a following - it has to get more emotional and more popy... and hopus kept going that way. Tom has ideas that are beyond his own perspective on his work. he is humble. yes ok maybe he shouldnt play live to blink any more - but he should still write the songs. every album (later ) had the odd great track) i dont think the new one without him has any
