I always say this as a United fan, Pogba at Juve played next to Pirlo, Vidal, Marchisio, won everything in Italy and reached Champions League Final. At France he played next to Matuidi and Kante, Won a World Cup and got to a Euros Final. At United, he played next to Herrera (love him but he is nowhere near the other midfielders I listed) and Matic who basically retired after 1 season at United. How do you expect him to be consistently be good in this squad? This points to a bigger problem at United, the squad building has been awful. A bunch of scrubs with one genuine world class talent. We could sign De Bruyne and make him awful, does that mean he is bad ? No, the supporting cast is mediocre. Look at De Bruyne at the Euros with Belgium, is he a mediocre player, or is it the awful environment of the Belgium camp and average players (No Hazard, Courtois, Alderwereld, Kompany, Dembele, Fellaini😂) United will ruin Mainoo next if they dont begin improving this aspect. There is too much pressure on a 19 year old to be our saviour because our seniors are absolutely useless (except Evans🐐)but at least we have Garnacho, Hojlund, Zirkzee, Amad, Yoro, Dalot (hopefully Amass, Obi Martin, Kone) who will be supporting him, hopefully for the next 10 years.

You kinda just said pogba isn't good enough unless he's being carried by the other 2 beside him, give him freedom and yeah he's a good player, but when yku need him to put in a shift and do a certain job, he starts strutting around doing that stupid walk and putting on arm guards like he's an nba player, talented player but go listen to what Scholes said about him, cares more about himself and his self image and agent p emojis than he did about staying fit and putting in a proper shift for united, one of the most over rated players I've seen when he's not carried by kante,pirlo etc
@sanele47802 ай бұрын
@@Spacecowboyy69 then you don't understand football. A player can win you a game by themselves, sure, but you need a good solid squad to win league titles. That's why I used De Bruyne as an example because he is undoubtedly world class, but for Belgium, what has he won ? Nothing. In the recent Euros, with Amadou Onana and Tielemans next to him, what did De Bruyne do? Nothing, but when he had Courtois, Hazard, Dembele, Fellaini, Witsel (in his prime) they were amazing in the 2018 World Cup. I can use any midfielder as an example for this. Modric at Spurs won nothing, went to Madrid and is next to Kroos, Casemiro, Valverde (Xabi Alonso, Kaka, Ozil and Khedira in his first season) all of a sudden, ballon'dor winner, multiple UCLs. Even for Croatia, Rakitic,Brozovic and Kovacic are better then Herrera and an old Matic. Bellingham at Dortmund, won the German Cup and fumbled the league on the last day of the season, then he went to a proper Squad at Madrid surrounded by Kroos, Modric, Valverde, Tchouameni, Camavinga, he is now a Ballon'dor nominee. Andrea Pirlo needed Seedorf, Gattuso and Ambrosini. If Pogba joined Madrid, he would undoubtedly be one of the greatest midfielders of this generation. Pogba in countless times took over games for United, France and Juve. When United were 2-0 down away at the Etihad, who stepped up and won United the game? Who scored the opening goal in the Europa League final ? Paul Pogba getting 4 assists against our rivals, Leeds. The season where we were undefeated away from home I remember Pogba scoring winners in the 2nd halves of those games, against Fulham, West Ham etc. How many games did he win Juve by himself? That's why he won the Golden boy, deservedly so. For France, he was consistent. Mbappe got the highlights but Pogba was the reason they won that World Cup, alongside Kante and Matuidi. Everyone in the France squad spoke about Pogba's leadership in the French dressing room. I even remember that for a while, there was some crazy stat that most of Mbappe and Greenwood's goals were assisted by Pogba. Even in the biggest stage of all, the World Cup final, he assisted Mbappe and got a goal for himself.
@sanele47802 ай бұрын
@@Spacecowboyy69 " being carried" in football, means being part of a team. If De Bruyne can't find the killer pass, it's fine, there's Foden, Silva, Rodri, Kovacic, Doku, Savinho, there are other options. There are 11 players on the pitch, why must Pogba do everything by himself. Even in a sport with less people on the court, the greatest basketball player ever, Michael Jordan, needed Scottie Pippen and Dennis Rodman. LeBron James needed Kyrie, D. Wade, Anthony Davis. Even the Celtics that recently won the NBA Championship, everyone in that team played their part. Tatum is the face, but Jaylen Brown, Jrue Holiday and Derrick White were so much more important in securing the win.

United should’ve let Pogba leave a lot sooner. He was a very talented player, wasting his prime years in a team that just wasn’t ever going to be good enough to compete. Before he arrived he was in the FIFA Team of the year. It really was a wasted career. Should’ve gone to Madrid or back to Juve a lot sooner

Im a United fan and a pogba fan, and im seeing alot of comments about 'the interviewer' and his questions and motives. Kaveh Solhekol is in my opinion very good at his job and actually, he is on pogba's side. He named all black players purposefully, because he knows that there is discrimination against black players in football. Kaveh himself whilst you might not call him black, he is not of white heritage.

@@danielkonradsson592 That is not coming from Liverpool fans at the time. The caricature of Souness as an enforcer belies his outstanding technical football ability. He had it all, range of passing, quick feet, ability to dribble and drive the ball forward. To assert one could captain such a successful, talented team and command players respect while being shite should give you pause.

To be clear Paul, Rooney did not say you were dancing in the dressing room right after a loss. It was in the days following a loss. In his day this would not have happened. Perhaps this is why they were winners and you lot weren’t. Perhaps he is wrong. But he never said you were dancing right after the game. Sky should really have been clear on that, but of course they want to stir it rather than have an interesting conversation.

"for the performance or for something else?"... No, for the performance. The same way player like McTominay and Maguire also get abused. Is it always fair? No. Is it sometimes excessive? Yes... But is it for their performances? YES!

Not true at all. When players played bad they got abused by pogba got it for his hair, social media and for dancing. All the black players always seemed to have “disciplinary issues” but whenever you speak to their colleagues they always say they are stand up guys. I think that’s what he is referring to
