As an Ahmadi Muslim and a police officer in Canada, I frequently interact with youths and adults from a wide range of backgrounds, ethnicities, and religious beliefs. My job has given me the opportunity to visit various places of worship and attend religious events across different communities, including Sikhs, Hindus, Christians, Jews, Sunnis, and Shias, as well as those who are non-religious. Throughout my experiences, I have been profoundly impressed by the level of youth engagement within the Ahmadiyya community. I've never witnessed such active participation among young people in any other community. Even my co-workers, who have visited our Jalsa Salana and Ahmadi mosques, were astonished by the number of young individuals actively involved in mosque activities, especially when compared to the attendance they observe in their own churches. Alhamdulillah

Assalam u Alaikum (peace be upon you), MashAllah Asif Mahmood Basit done very well here in answering in a polite, respectful and accurate manner. It was a bit disappointing that Declan Henry kept on stating his opinion or "criticism from others"(which when asked there is no solid evidence to back up this) as facts. Some examples are below: Hazoor (The leader) does not do speeches in English - False there is countless speeches by Hazoor (the leader) in English. when he is giving a speech to an audience whose first language is mostly Urdu it makes sense to give the speech in Urdu. When the audience as a majority understands English, he speaks in English. Also, all speeches are translated and are often even translated live so it can "reach the corners of the earth". Ahmadiyya community youth are drifting away and they are really big challenges that Ahmadiyya Jammat are facing and so will see a decline in 20 years - No solid evidence provided (and no evidence can ever be provided as only God knows the level of righteousness of an individual and the future) and also wording it in a way that the ongoing challenges in the world are only faced by the Ahmadiyya community and not the rest of the religions such as Christianity. This is false all people and religions have and will always face challenges. Again, Asif Mahmood Basit addressed this point respectfully and summarised this in his final words. Lastly, a criticism that that the Ahmadiyya community is not sufficiently passing on their message to others e.g. Christians - this is again an opinion and how can anyone determine the rate a religion’s message’s should be passed on (This is up to God’s Will and his plan. God is the best planner) . Ahmadiyya community and their hazoor try to pass on their message to everyone they are able to. We are all blessed by God to have free will to accept or reject this. The community has 12-15 million members which is impressive based on how recently it has been founded and has ever since grown rapidly. We must remember that humanity cannot frustrate God's plan if he wants Ahmadiyya to spread at a certain rate it will do that. Not faster or slower.

Let Declan Henry know, we the youth of the community, we will stick to Ahmadiyya Islam till our last breath. Those among us youth that are the basis upon which the "critics" put their allegations, are ignorant, they do not read or gain knowledge. I, am a youth of the community, and I know many other youth, who will stand by the truth we have found, until the Day of Judgment. Let Declan Henry, and the "critics" know, they have no knowledge about the youth of the community, or who God is causing to be born among the youth of the community, and what sacrifices the youth of the communtiy will do. I am a Quranist. Grew up Ahmadi. Nowhere in Quran does it say that there will be a prophet after Muhammad. Nowhere in Quran does it say that Jesus will return. Nowhere in Quran is a Mahdi mentioned. So according to Quran there is no Messia promised and no Mahdi. The Ahmaddiya religion is based on hadiths,hadiths which have also misguided the Sunnis,and which are not the words of Allah. If anything the Quran says that Allah has completed his favour with Islam and Quran and that Muhammad is Khattam-ul-Nabiya. The word Khattam is also used in urdu/hindi,and can be used as to say something is finished or the last or over. Muhammad brought the Quran,Mirza Ghulam Ahmad hasnt managed to release a book like this. Most importantly in India alone where his religion was founded there are more Christians than there are Ahmaddis worldwide. These are facts,as Indians collect consensus data. Fact of matter is that the Quran is the basis and miracle of our religion,the Sunnis are misguided in their own way and the Ahmaddis are misguided in their own way. Just because the Sunnis,a lot of Muslims are misguided, doesn't mean that the Ahamddis are guided. 2 wrongs dont make one right.

Does in Quran it tells you to pray five times a day? You need to learn it from hadith or the sunnah of the Holy Prophet (saw). Learn from the source instead of making judgements. Have you read a single book of Ahmadiyya Muslim Jama'at or its founder (as)??
@maheerab52382 ай бұрын
Khattam just means seal, like a scroll being authenticated. You should know about law bearing and non law bearing prophets. In one of his sayings the Holy Prophet(saw) calls his uncle, Hazrat Abbas(ra), Khatamul Muhajireen (see Kanzul Ommal, Vol. VI, p. 178). But it does not mean that Abbas was the last Muhajir (refugee) of the whole Muslim world. Similarly, Hazrat Ali(ra) is called Khatamul Auliya (see Tafsir Safi under the Quranic verse 33:41). Ibn Khaldun says this phrase is understood to mean that Ali was a perfect saint and not the last (see Muqaddama, Vol. II pp. 165-167).

Full respect for both, Mr. Duclan and Asif Sahib. My late father had his first contact (in age 20 or 21) with Ahmadiyya Islam in the early '70s of the last century in the USA. While I, during my studies in high school (madrasa) and the Faculty of Islamic Studies in the capital of Kosovo, in Prishtina during my youth, I had the first contact with Ahmadiyya Islam and after deeply studies of the books and teachings of the founder of the Ahmadiyya Association, I made the decision and accepted that this is the true Islam that originates from the Holy Qur'an and the Tradition of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).

It was a nice session, but one thing i must say that Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth is more than 100% inclined to their faith. ALHUMDULILLAH I believe with my utmost faith that Mirza ghulam Ahmad a.s. is the promised messiah, messiah maud wa mehdi maud, the reformer of the age, the subordinate prophet(ummati nabi). "I SHALL CAUSE THY MESSAGE TO THE CORNERS OF THE EARTH" And guess a man(mirza ghulam ahmad) from a small village of punjab india called qadian' nobody knew him and qadian at that time' now the whole world knows whos mirza ghulam ahmad(the promised messiah a.s.) and where the qadian is. ALLAH had promised him and HE has, is and will continue to fulfil HIS promise. Bcoz AlLLAH does not leave his prophets alone.

This gap in his knowledge speaks volumes about his research skills... or lack thereof. Sorry, but this doesn't exactly fill me with confidence in his expertise or credibility. Mr Declans points were based more on assumptions from critics then factual evidence. Indeed, the youth of today socialise more with wider communities, but this only helps broaden our perspective of the real world, it doesn’t weaken our faith in the truthfulness of the promised messiah. In fact the youth of today ask more open ended questions then the previous generations who followed their religion solely based on what was followed by their forefathers

@@ayaanexpo8157 Declan admitted himself that other Sunni Muslims, including Barelvis like Asrar Rashid hurl insults and abuses when they aren't being recorded on camera. Real righteous men they are, right? If they're only speaking the truth, why are they afraid to say it on camera? We don't care to host people with sub-human decency. Second, we have had countless debates with non Ahmadi Muslims and there is a pending debate challenge to Asrar Rashid, which he is yet to accept. It's clear that he's just interesting in cashing in on the attention that opposing Jamaat Islam Ahmadiyya garners. Finally, it would make more sense to have a neutral moderator, not someone that is adamantly opposed to your existence and advocates for your killing in order to enter Jannah.

@gammaray3e3 Do you want them to insult your prophet on camera?! Again, as an Ahmadi, I'm not sure you’re in a position to criticize others for 'hurling insults and abuses'. Surely, among 2 billion Muslims, you can find a decent person. Declan also 'admitted' that Ahmadis are the ones putting up obstacles and avoiding debates with Muslims. And one more thing-why have you never accepted a debate on the truthfulness of MGA? I wonder why?!

51:50 Breaking news, Mr. Asif: Unlike Christianity and Ahmadiyya, the life or death of Isa (a.s) isn’t a tenet of Islam. 🙂
@gammaray3e33 ай бұрын
The reason it's brought up so frequently is because it resolves the disputes between Ahmadi Muslims and non Ahmadi Muslims. If Isa (as) has passed away, then the natural conclusion is that someone *like* Isa (as) is to come, and since The Holy Prophet (saw) clearly stated that Isa (as) would be a prophet, this person to come would also be a prophet. The main difference between Ahmadi and Non Ahmadi Muslims is that they take a literal view, and we adopt the metaphorical. Second, if believing in the death of Isa (as) isn't essential to Sunni Islam, can I be a Sunni Muslim (like I assume you are) and still maintain that Isa (as) has passed away? If yes, then we have no point of contention. If no, then yes the death of Isa (as) does become a mandatory tenet in Sunni Islam.
@ayaanexpo81573 ай бұрын
@@gammaray3e3 No, if Isa (a.s.) has passed away, the natural conclusions could be that either Isa (a.s.) will return miraculously, the reports are fabricated, Prophet Muhammad misunderstood the wahi (since you believe prophets can make such mistakes), or that Isa ibn Maryam is a metaphor for a group of pious people... The possibilities are endless. You only interpret Ahadith metaphorically when they don’t align with MGA, but take them literally when they do. For example, he interpreted the combining of prayers and the eclipse literally.. Yes, you can be a Sunni Muslim and believe that Isa (a.s.) has died, but you cannot be a Muslim without believing that Prophet Muhammad is the last in the chain of prophethood.
@gammaray3e33 ай бұрын
@@ayaanexpo8157 You clearly have no understanding of our beliefs and theology. 1.) If Isa Isa (as) has passed away, please describe how he will return miraculously, you mean resurrection? Because if someone has died and then they return from death they have been resurrected, how do you substantiate such a belief. Second, we do not believe the reports were fabricated. We accept every word of them. Third, we do not believe that the Prophet Muhammad (saw) misunderstood wahi God forbid. It is not our belief that the prophets make mistakes such as misunderstanding revelation. I don't know how you draw such conclusions. 2.) I can say the exact same about you, you interpret hadith metaphorically when it suits you and literally when it doesn't. Sunnis, Shias, and Wahhabis (not to mention the hundreds of other sects) interpret the hadith literally or metaphorically to different degrees that is in line with their theology, so your point does not hold. Our balance of literal and metaphorical interpretation is not to just blindly support Ahmad (as) but rather to defend the honour of the prophets. What kind of gross disgusting belief would it be that Isa (as) will return and God forbid just run around literally killing pigs and literally breaking crosses. Similarly, that the Dajjal will ride on a giant donkey. These literalist interpretations don't make sense. 3.) Related to the first point, we don't believe Ahmad (as) not to be a new or independent prophet. I 100% agree with you that all independent and law-bearing prophethood has come to an end. We believe that Ahmad (as) has come as a prophet in the sense that he is completely subservient to The Holy Prophet (saw) and that any prophet out of the ummah of The Holy Prophet (saw) is completely forbidden. And again, your resurrection theory also holds no ground, if Isa (as) is passed away and buried somewhere, then how will the hadith of Isa (as)'s descent with two angels work, after all, according to you he will have to be God forbid clawing his way through the dirt and out of the ground (God forbid!) or would you then have to take these hadith metaphorically as well? See you yourself are taking certain hadith metaphorically or literally to fit your narrative, as is done by every sect of Islam. All in all, while we do disagree theologically, you do seem much more respectful than the other Non Ahmadi Muslims I've had discussions with and for that I thank you. JazakAllah and Wassalam.
@R-rl7qc3 ай бұрын
unlike christianity and sunnism, the belief that Jesus is alive on the side of God is not a tenet of Islam 🙂. We however believe the same about every prophet, that they all passed away like the Quran.
@ayaanexpo81573 ай бұрын
@@gammaray3e3 * It doesn’t matter what your beliefs are; I’m speaking from a Muslim perspective. If you prove that Isa (a.s.) is dead, we still aren’t obliged to believe in MGA due to these possibilities: - If it’s a miracle, I don’t need to know how it happens; I’ll just take the messenger’s word for it. - We are justified in rejecting reports that contradict the Quran, just as you reject the hadith that says Isa will fight until only Islam remains. - If prophets don't misunderstand wahi, that would make MGA a false prophet for misinterpreting his wahi and prophecies. - And what about the possibility that Isa is a metaphor for a group of pious people? * Yes, you can say the same about us. We agree, then-you don’t take every prophecy as a metaphor, only the parts that can’t be applied to MGA, which is almost everything. * The hadith doesn’t mention multiple pigs or crosses. It says *يقتل الخنزير* (singular). If Isa (a.s.) kills one pig and breaks one cross, the prophecy is fulfilled. When he does that, Christians will follow him, stop eating pig, and abandon the Trinity. * MGA is a new prophet-there’s no arguing that. You can phrase it however you like, but it doesn’t change the fact. By the way, MGA admitted he brought a sharia. And let’s not forget, MGA claimed he was the second coming of Prophet Muhammad and that his second coming was even better than the first. If you’re on FB or Twitter, we can take the discussion there.
