Today we are releasing our sapphire crystals for the 40mm Seiko 5 watches. These are the new releases, SRPE51/53/55/57/58/60/61/63/67, the so-called bezel-less Seiko 5, or "DressKX".
We are offering two different crystals, a flat or double dome. Both are scratch resistant sapphire, and have blue AR coating on the underside.

These look great - I couldn't make sense of your instructions re. DIY replacement - you seemed to suggest that the crystal could be replaced without removing the bezel.. I'm sure I misunderstood - If anyone has a 'how to' video, I'd be keen to see it done. Can't wait for mine!

Got a retro Casio home from ebay with sapphire (it seems) - feel lucky for that. When I tap on it there is a solid sound to it. I know it's not mineral as I experiment with polishing out scratches on mineral and tapping on those is different.

Having popped out the crystal from my new Seiko 5 (same as Mark's blue one in the video) to have a look, I found they seem to have a different gasket to other seikos - more square (fatter) in shape and came out still on the crystal - had a nightmare putting it back, took an eternity to seat. Is it a different gasket or a particular knack - never had a problem with lods of changes I have done in the past.

Hello Marc, are the dials between the 42 mm SRPDs and these 40 mm SRPEs the same? I own the green SRPD61 and I love the dial but unfortunately they didnt realese that dial for under this model and I have a small wrist so I was thinking if I will be able to fit that green dial on these 40 mm cases?

Do you offer better/larger clasps for these watches? I got a 8.5 ish wrist and 2 pionts of micro adjustment just isn't going to cut it? Also I think you listing lists a 20mm lug for these watches but do you know what the width for the clasp is? The band must narrow down not?

Hey Marc - the new SRPE33 35 37 King Sammy watches seem to be about $600+ USD. Meanwhile the ISL-26 etc are about half that, and you just posted a really cool SARB look alike dial on Insta... I'm not asking a question so much as pleading with you to create a textured dial that competes with the overpriced Seiko Kings. And to say "Thanks" yet again. You're killing it.

Just get a 32mm/28mm tempered glass watch screen protector for front & back glass will do. Same as how your smart phone glass is protected.

AR coating changes the look and feel of a watch completely. I love being able to see the dial straight through. One of my only gripes with the SARB033, for example, is the lackluster single-coated AR that doesn't do the job as well as it could. This will be an awesome addition, and of course, provide additional scratch resistance. Keep up the great work.

Alright Mark, time to corner the market and start making Casio Duro mods, bezels, bezel inserts, dials, bands, crystals etc. The watch is cheap, there isn't much direct aftermarket support etc. Think of it like making aftermarket parts for a civic, a cheap car that can introduce people to modding :)
