It’s a pity that Strapcode doesn’t make jubilee bracelets with “golden” center links for all models. I had to buy a full steel jubilee Strapcode for my Seiko SNZH57 (the one for Kamasu fitted well), although the two-tone one would look much better.

I was thinking the same thing. I wonder how hard it would be to gold plate the center links...

@WatchmakerErik2 жыл бұрын
@@moorwatch9654 it depends on how the bracelet is held together but I suppose you could.
@wheel2man2 жыл бұрын
@@moorwatch9654 From my experience with the jubilee bracelet, I believe that would be quite possible. Those center pieces are separate and can removed when resizing the links(or flipped as I accidentally found out.) Be carefully as I believe this bracelet uses those tiny retainers for the pins. They are super easy to lose if you don't expect them. Edit to say I looked again and it looks like the pins for the non removable links are inaccessible. Maybe there's another way, but I don't know for sure.

Tell me about it!!! I do not own a timegrapher, and as a result, just spent a little over 2 weeks of adjust, then let it run for a day....then adjust again, and.... you get the picture. From time to time though, I have got lucky and got it just about right, on the first or second try. One thing I did learn from doing this a few to many times, is to etch a little mark in the movement, at the starting point first, before I make any adjustments, as a reference point. LOL. I think it's about time though, to just break down, raid the ol' piggy-bank , and buy one. Keep up the good work, Jody. Cheers....

I've had mine for almost a year now, but I can't get myself to mod it just yet. I'd love one of those sapphire crystals with the distortion effect, but I don't want a top hat. Small added advice: If removing or tightening the crown step with pliers like that, make sure you grip it as close to the corwn as possible, if you're holding it near the business end and the pliers slip and round off anything, you'll really mess up the stem. Looks awesome! I know they've since launched a much more "normal" sized Super-JUB II (🤣 at the naming); but it still has those protruding end links. 😞 Love these mods, though, and it's making the DressKX a tempting purchase!
