Personal opinion - on the black version there are too many lines aesthetically, you have the outer railroad markings, the inner railroad and the full segments that unites them, then you have the pattern in the back. My main issue are the roman numerals, they should be in full paint. With them being hollow, it visualy creates too many lines... Aside from that, beautiful watches.

Knocked it out’ve the park!!! Need more of this!! Maybe a quartz without a second hand? Or keep the auto but lose the second hand? Also, a 6’oclock date doesn’t bother me at all!!! Lovely lovely watch! Love where you guys are going with this!!

The watch looks good. Yes to leaving off the logo. The straps are cool for a sportcoat and open shirt look, but IMO for a suitcoat I think you’d need to go with leather. (I like the black best FWIW.) And by the way, thank you so much for acknowledging that many of us enjoy dressing appropriately at cocktail parties, fine dining establishments, and the like.

If only they had a 38mm black dial without the gilt…

Ok! Ordered a bracelet for the Fugu red bezel and got it this week! Last year, I wanted to order a bracelet for the Casio Duro, but when I looked at the website, they were sold out. So I went to eBay and bought a bracelet which was fine. I think the bracelet at $20 is fine for a $50 to $60 watch! But, this bracelet for the fugu is great! A great quality bracelet for a watch that’s over $200! I tried on the green bazel fugu, which had a bracelet and it was ok! I much prefer this bracelet to the one that Citizen puts on other fugu’s! Thanks again for a great bracelet and fast shipping!

nah don't ask seiko to bring this back they either gonna charge it obscenely (more expensive than even the Tissot PRX) or make it solar watch AND cost more expensive still

The "ISLANDER" easter egg in the V of "VI" does not work for me. I was convinced that the V was blurred by accident. Most people don't have the eyesight to notice the text inside the letter.

Well done! Awesome design and attention to detail. No logo on the dial works better for this design. The white one is my favorite. Reminds me of the Seiko presage tonneau that I always wanted, but this Islander costs way less and has a better movement in my opinion!

This is my favorite yet!!! I can't think of anything quite like it. It'll be perfect for my wrists and style. And I still can't believe you always use sapphire and a Miyota 9 series at this price range.

I like the watch, but the band doesn't fit at all. Should come on a leather band.
