Sons, anyone in boxing knows that Gesta is working out at half speed and power. He's showing more composure then Jose, because he's more experienced. But yes, Jose does have a future, just as long he trains faithfully and keeps himself humble.

Gesta fights in spurts too much. He'll throw a few punches then steps away and resets. He wouldnt be able to handle a pressure fighter like Rios who will be on him the entire time.

@dontcatchnosleep yeah i agree. his lack of experience is being exposed. most of these boxers here in socal like Benavidez have been boxing all their lives whether in the amateurs or in the olympics. Gesta came straight from a Muay Thai background, which by all boxing accounts, means poor footwork, timing, form, when it comes to pure boxing.

Gesta reaction is too slow and seems to wait for an opening way too much. Easy way for him to get behind on the cards in a match against a real boxer
