Very nice episode. I've mentioned on Instagram that this would be a better sequel movie imo. Some changes made, swap joker with another villain. Have some expansion and additional scenes with them too. Could of been a good 3rd movie.

According to an issue of (I think) The New Teen Titans, it is shown that the chained/scalemail part of Robin's costume is a onesie. The torso part is underneath the red shirt.

In the immortal words of Tim Burton: “No Robin”😅 As I’ve said before, i prefer a solo, more tortured Batman. As the first film in a series, i think B89’s take works better with a relatively new Batman who is a more mysterious phantom-like creature of the night as opposed to a well known established Batman who has already been operating in Gotham for 3 years. As a side note you mentioned the upcoming Batman ‘89 comic series coming soon. Would you consider cover the issues in a future show? Interestingly, i recently was able to acquire a collection of Near mint Graphic novels. Batman Cataclysm, Road to No Man’s Land vol 1&2, and the 6 volumes of No Man’s Land. What amazed me so far reading Cataclysm is that the artists were drawing Gotham very much like Anton Furst’s Gotham and Batman was wearing a near black Batsuit. I have to say, it looks great and works just as well on the page as it did in the film. PS, I’ve been meaning to say this for a while, Zack’s artwork is outstanding. I would love to buy a custom piece.🙂

I actually feel the opposite. I feel like almost every Batman film is seriously lacking because of Robin's exclusion. I find it hard to believe that a person like the Bruce we know would be able to sustain himself mentally without the effect that having to raise a young boy who in many ways echoes his own life has on him. To me it's just a matter of making sure the writing makes the story and relationship believable, as obviously it's very easy to make the idea too campy
@walter_the_wobot23493 жыл бұрын
@@8LiterallyJustTheNumber8 In my humble opinion, Robin is antithetical to Batman and i feel like there are better sources for support for Bruce such as Alfred, Gordon, and Leslie Thompkins. I’m not against a serious love interest like Silver also acting as stabilising force in Bruce’s life as long as the two don’t get too cosy☺️ But Robin? No. I’ve enjoyed reading some origin tales where Bruce has helped the boy and shared their mutual pain, but the moment that kid puts on those little green pixy booties and those tight little shorts I’m out! 😅
@8LiterallyJustTheNumber83 жыл бұрын
@@walter_the_wobot2349 Haha, to each their own! To me, Batman isn't Batman without Robin, but I understand where you're coming from. That's what I meant when I said it's *very easy* to make the concept seem terrible and writers should definitely tread carefully, especially when dealing with a younger Robin. It's always fun to hear other people's perspectives though!
