This is so heartbreaking. "Brothers" who value an anthem, a song, over their partner of 10 years. Makes me question the songs of love, peace, brotherhood that I came to love from The Canadian Tenors. I just can't help believing this was discussed among the three long before this baseball game. Understanding played no part. You all know what Remigio Pereira stands for. 10 years, and you're acting like this was the most disgusting incident you have ever experienced. The bloody anthem was changed by Justin Trudeau. Were you disgusted with him? Sad is how I feel when I see how you cut Remigio out of your lives. Pay him what you owe him, you each know personally what he has done for each of you. Speak personally to him, rather than your lawyer, and let him go. You have moved on, and he is moving on to a great solo career. Sincerely, Lynda Klodt

I met Remi, Victor, Clifton and Fraser in Cary, NC in their early days before they blew up on the scene. This was right after Oprah. They all were incredibly friendly, kind with brotherly love. They all sang about love, forgiveness and genuine healing. My take on these guys are something special and it is a shame that Remi found himself with the scarlet letter on his chest. Did the others believe in forgiveness? Love? Stand by a brother? Or was it their career, the money. It is sad they sang with such conviction and compassion, yet their lives did not hold true to their hearts. I'm sure it was heated after the Canadian fiasco locker room. Leaders respond positively without pressure from the lynch mobs and the three cowards, Victor-Fraser-Clifton, should be ashamed of abandoning their brother over a poor decision. They are franticly trying to salvage their cowardly careers by dodging and ignoring the ousting of a wonderful human being. My take on Victor is most likely a standup guy and most likely struggled with the friction between Clifton, Fraser and Remi. Image is everything to Clifton and Fraser along with success. It is a sad situation as they sang at one point in their career. The group may try but will never be the same without Remi. They are stained not because of Remi but because of their fraudulent message they sang prior to the event proven by their own unforgivingness. I wish Remi great success. Victor as well. They certainly were strong all four together.

"We do not support his political stance." If his political stance is that no one life is more important than another life, that all people are equally worthy of living regardless of race, religion, orientation, cultural background, etc., that no one deserves special treatment, but equal and fair treatment...I'd say that's worth supporting. These guys just don't want the criticism that comes with any kind of controversial statement. Political correctness is like a viper in the grass. You don't notice it at first, it's stealthy and cunning; you typically don't notice it until it's too late, and it strikes. Its poison will slowly eat away at the foundations of our constitutional right of free speech. That said, I do understand why "All Lives Matter" is considered controversial. It's like a movement to try to lessen the message of the Black Lives Matter movement. The Black community has been feeling they receive an unfair amount of judgment and harsher treatment, and so saying "All Lives Matter" is like saying their pleas are not worth hearing, and so lessens the significance of the Black community's message specifically. The important thing to remember, though, is that the Black Lives Matter movement is right to a degree. Blacks DO deserve equal treatment to anyone else. A person should be judged by their actions and behavior/attitude, not by the color of their skin. However, it is the radical movement within Black Lives Matter that is coming forward that the All Lives Matter movement is rising against. Radical Black Lives Matter is for violence, chaos, rioting, anger, racial tension, etc., and is getting to the point it is almost pushing for special treatment instead of equal treatment. It is this radical, extreme version of Black Lives Matter that people are upset about. All Lives Matter! Everyone does deserve to be treated equally. If you look at it objectively, All Lives Matter and the original intent and message behind Black Lives Matter are one in the same: equal treatment for everyone.

Forgiveness is golden, but it doesn't necessarily enable them to trust Remi again. That's the real issue, I suspect -- broken trust. A few months ago a woman changed the canadian lyrics to the anthem. singing...Our home on Native land, instead of Our home and Native Land. Of course very little was said against her, perhaps its because its 10 years later. she's a woman, a person of colour. She continues to do this, yet barely raises an eyebrow. is it because she's a woman, Rosanne made a mess out of the anthem. people were furious, so that's not it. Is it because it happened in Canada and not the states, so the media doesn't milk everything and blow it out of perportion? Ya thats it, Kinda like the current Bud Light Scandal. Talk about an emotional and political hotbed. Plus, it had been known for 2 years that the term “All Lives Matter” was controversial and why. Did Remigio expect that his message would magically transcend controversy across ALL demographics and heal America’s wounds? Even after seeing other celebrities try and fail with that slogan? And then to criticize the other 3 for not coming to his defense. How does one defend such disturbing behaviour? I’m proud of the other 3 for taking the stand they did.

Now, I am not Canadian so I want to be careful in what I say here OK. Personally, changing words to a National Anthem is not something that should be done as it will be classed as disrespect to the Country, BUT, the message that was given, although in the wrong place at the wrong time, is something that I do believe in. If the guys can eventually get past this and the three can put their differences of the one, aside, people will still love what they do. I mean Remigio Pereira makes a damned good vampire and I have read about him and his beliefs, and like I said, I think many people believe the same about peace, love and honesty. So, looking as an outsider I think it has blown up out of proportion a bit and if they each sit down and talk, they could work this out and carry on doing what they do best and that is all sing together again. Each of them has a unique sound and in harmony all four voices go very well together. I really do hope that they can settle this and move forward as a group of four tenors. I hope I have not upset anyone with my opinion.

Its sad what these guys did to remi. I am no longer a fan. They may sing beautifully but they just showed themselves to be cowardly.

You just don't mess with a country's national anthem for your own political statements at an official function. Sure, people do it on their own time for comic or other reasons - Stephen Colbert just did it last week with a "new" version of O Canada that ended with "Our Prime Minister is Hot." Ya, his humor is not for everybody. Lord knows Americans futz around with their own national anthem. But what this ONE Tenor did was at an official function where he was representing his country. Totally not cool. I really feel bad for the other singers who were totally blindsided. The two in this video are clearly shaken by this, and I don't blame them.

I always look at the 'business' between the lines ... Remigio Pereira did that prank to get the news cycle ... what a terrible way to go off on his own ... there was ten years of brotherhood ... and what Mr. Pereira ignited was a message of social substance ... but the three left made it more of a personal hurt than working for the peace he seemed to be celebrating ... it was disrespectful but Canadian Trio, DOTH PROTESTETH TOO MUCH ... You lost a very important voice in your beautiful harmonies ... There is a real problem when an anthem is more important than what it stands for ...

You guys have alleviated the shame. Your response is adequate. The only thing better (which you did not need to do), was to knock him out and swing your mic's and drop them and proclaim............."WE ARE OUT"....... still proud of you guys.......................Play on boys......I support you.

Please please Tenors you must go on. You are amazing men with huge talent. This was one person who took it on alone. No this is not fair to the three of you.I know you will get through this with all the support from your families and fans. Really believe in what you do and why you do it. As one of your biggest fans you will grow stronger and move forward. The world needs you to do what you do best. I wish all of you good luck you deserve it.

OK me again, over the two weeks I have been thinking about this, and how I would feel if someone from another Country changed our National Anthem lyrics for a political stand and I think I would be really annoyed about it as it is so disrespectful to the people and the Country. Not many people like our National Anthem anyway, but that is beside the point, Anthems should not be changed for political reasons. As the other Tenors did not know that it was going to happen, I am not surprised that he has been 'sacked' by the other Tenors. It is not the publicity that they want and they didn't ask for it either. So, the actual deed of changing the lyrics for a political statement, and knowingly doing that, and knowing that it is disrespectful, and whether or not that I agree with the statement, Remi has done Canada and its people a great faux pas and must now take the consequences for this. He will no longer be a Canadian Tenor, which is a gift in itself.

You have a the right to do what you want to do but when you're with a group and you change the words of Canada's song without the rest of the group, that's wrong. Remigio did it wrong, He was wrong and I'm happy to see that he''s gone.

Remigio Pereira should come to the States where we value lives over words. Oh, except tRump who likes to make Patriotism about standing rather than sitting or kneeling. But Canadians know what a putz he is.

Gentlemen, That off pitch non Canadian tenor should be banned from Canada for life. The sanctity of any country anthem must be paid full respect. Hold auditions immediately to replace the off pitch tenor with one that isn't. Redraw the contracts to include severe penalties including mandatory 5yrs jail time for assaulting any national anthems.
