Just picked up my first set of custom skates from my local pure hockey’s 3d volumental skate lab. Let me just say never ever again will i buy a set off the shelf. The fit, comfort, and over all performance increase have been unreal

The fact that their test ice sheet is only like 15 feet long, totally shows in their blade designs... It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to snipe the puck below the crossbar from any further than about that distance, because all the damn blades they produce are so OPEN and/or CURVED. You absolutely CANNOT keep the puck at a certain height from certain distances, it's absurd. How do you keep producing these blades that are completely useless for all but like 10% of shooting situations where you are basically RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE NET where the stick curve is almost completely irrelevant anyway
