When I was in high school the little town we used to go to that had a great strip for racing decided to build up an actual Racetrack and have us pay dues instead of racing in the street and it was absolutely fantastic. I support what the cops are doing, but, they pulled over a dozen cars that were not observed speeding and were not observed spectating and gave them warnings, (which go on your record), for something they have no evidence that they did. That is illegal detainment. Why can't cops just do their job and stay within the bounds of the law and the constitution?

You’re 100% wrong. Warnings do not go in your driving record in CA. They are recorded in the police agencies database records. The cops had reasonable suspicion to detain them based on the facts and circumstances which is the people that were detain were either street racing or spectating street racing. All the people detain were identified and released after questioned. There was absolutely no ones rights violated here according to the constitution. Review your laws of arrest, search & seizure, and current case law.
