I struggled a lot w my 1st baby and always felt guilty I could never go further than 2 months because I really wanted a successful bf journey 🥺🥺🥺 but had no one telling me the secrets and I had bought a small pump and all to be prepared... 2nd time around I stopped at around 6 or 7months and this 3rd time Im very proud of myself because Ive been doing a pretty good darn job 🙏🙏💕💕💕 thanks btw

I use a yeti with ice & a top that closes to keep bottle refrigerated vs a cooler. Then I fill up an insulated water bottle with boiling water. When it’s time to feed, dump out the ice & fill yeti half way with hot water.

I’m sitting here pumping! I definitely have that dishwasher caddy for parts and my girl is 5 weeks! I quickly learned I needed to Ex Pump, so I bought anything I could to make it easier. 💖😂 So glad you’re talking about this subject. It seems like other moms talk about it, but no professionals talk about it!

You go mama! Haha pump that milk lol! Thanks so true. Why don’t professionals talk about it more?

Mental health wise I’m definitely trying the dishwasher basket, as a second time mom and having a dishwasher/exclusively pumping, I’m so OVER the hand washing. Our little guy is already 1 month old, I’m finally starting to use the dishwasher to mentally help get through the washing… thanks for the yeti tumbler idea!! And sharing your thoughts on the lansinoh freezer bags. I got 1 hakaa but maybe need to get a second one and actually try it! I’ve also invested in a manual expression madela pump… definitely need to try that too for while I’m out running errands for keeping milk supply and not being tied down to the house

Tommee tippee sells a travel bottle warmer basically functions how you’re using the yeti! (For those who use the fatter bottles that don’t fit)

So smart to use an insulated tumbler for hot water! Never thought of that. Mind blown!

Hey! This video brought me back to those days. I wish those suction cups were around back then. I remember trying to balance a plastic vile between my leg and breast while holding on to the other side pumping. Ridiculous! Between that new suction cup and Elvie pump things have certainly changed for the better for mamas!

I just got a baby brew bottle warmer as a gift from my MIL. I LOVE it. It's so much smaller than a tumbler and it warms it up to the exact right temp. Highly recommend 🙌

I used the Hakka with my daughter and LOVED them! Absolutely an essential!
@adrianeelise38493 жыл бұрын
Does tbe Hakka work as well as a pump ? Does it interfere with your regular pumping ounces ?
@AndieBabie2 жыл бұрын
@@adrianeelise3849 I wouldn't use it as a pump necessarily but if your combo nursing and pumping it's a good way to collect extra on one side while baby nurses on the other I also used two when in the shower to catch the milk that would drip down the drain and i would also use it when i would single pump each side to empty better and would keep thevhakka on the other side.

I still handwash my parts just because the dishwasher is harder on them and they need replaced more often. But bottles and stuff the nipples are easier to replace so I will probably use the dishwasher for that this time at least. Man so much time at the sink with pump parts!! Oo another great product if you do sanitize things we do for the first 6 months is the Milton cold water sterilizer I love this stuff liquid or tabs! So simple i just keep a container on my counter filled with the solution and the parts go in they need to stay in 15 min but can be used straight from there and don't need to cool it also doesn't matter how long they need to stay in there!!!

I feel like I’m becoming an ExPump mamm. Freezing hack: Milkies trays! You can freeze then defrost by the 1oz portions. I then store then in bags, documented by the week and pull out as much as I need at a time. 🕰
