Hi Kathleen, that's a great question. TSA doesn't really apply to this question as they just check what passes through and dont really count your bags. This is more of a question about if the airline your flying will allow this. It's technically considered a medical device so they should let you have this extra bag, but I can't say with confidence that they would. Some airlines are more agreeable than others. If I were you, and needed more than 2 bags as a carry on, I would call the airlines customer service line and confirm their policies. I hope this helps!

Why do they need to see the wipes? They’ve never asked to see makeup wipes or baby wipes in my experience so why breastmilk wipes?

Good advice lady. Dealing with TSA can be a real challenge some days. You know I remember waaaaaaaaay back in the day when TSA actually forced a woman to drink her own breast milk.

Ugh, that's weird. Not that I mind drinking it, it's actually tasty, but that's still weird. Hooray for awareness and progress! There are stories out there where TSA wont let woman take their breastmilk in their carry-on and they end up having to throw it away or I hope put it in their checked bag. Problem is, when you shake the milk, you break up the protein in the milk and renders it useless, so you may as well throw it away.
