Angiotensin is a vasoconstrictor and also increases blood pressure

renin converts angiotensinogen (made by liver) to angiotensin1 and then angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE secreted by lungs) convert it to angiotensin 2. Both are vasoconstrictors but angiotensin2 affects adrenal cortex finally.
