The bad sound from 5:45 is my mistake. I will upload a new version and fix this problem sometime later. Thanks everyone for letting me know.

Battle on the Big Bridge is great, don’t get me wrong, but I think THIS is the best theme in the game.

In addition to the fact that the musical composition is wonderful, this theme has a great extra value, which is how it narrates, since the first time it sounds is in the last battle of Galuf against exdeath and the music perfectly tells the feeling that the confrontation emits

It is. I believe it's my favorite boss theme in the series.

He might not be that memorable of a villain like Kefka is, but he's no pushover like Kefka either. This dude means business and if you don’t have a well-optimized setup by the end of World 2 he's gonna bring the pain. One of the most fun Final Fantasy bosses, especially in a Freelancer-Only or Four-Job Fiesta run. You need to bring your A-game to this fight.

Kefka's only threat is the RNG spamming Havoc Wing, which always felt to me like an "F-You" from the programmers.

At least it would be a hard battle if his level wasn’t 66 and he wasn’t weak to Level 3 Flare, it’s kind of funny how literally every boss can be cheesed with the proper job shenanigans

@@topfranluis1yeah but obtaining level 3 flare by that point is a pain because not only is with a fixed encounter in a chest but you need someone that can learn it with a level multiple of 3.

@@alejandro_rodriguez_99 And the monster in question hits extremely hard with all attacks, so surviving the battle and learning the skill along with it isn't the easiest thing to do.

He won't win any personality contests, but as far as the actual battles go ExDeath is probably the nastiest of the classic FF bosses. Definitely puts up more of a fight than Kefka or Sephiroth's final showdowns.

Golbez was a big pushover. Never put up much of a fight for a main antagonist.

Just played ff 6 again..Kefka on first try on a weaker team. He just does status changes like crazy.

Exdeath might not be everyone’s favorite Final Fantasy villain or character for that matter (he certainly isn’t mine), but he has a far better boss theme and tougher boss fights than he deserves.

Wish the would make a remake of ff5 like they did ff7! To me Bartz and Exdeath > Cloud and Sephiroth

some of the battle backgrounds with the moving animation looks good with ff6 over ff5 like the desert and water. it looks so lackluster on ff6 compared to ff5. i wish they kept the flesh beating on exdeath castle battle bg like the sfc/psx version as well as the final area of the void with the stars moving instead of keeping them still on the pixel remaster
