HackerHaunter, simple. In Final Fantasy V Sword Dance was a move of a Dancer Job. It only dealt 4x damage.

Preety hard to use. i often use him in power mode and use mighty strike ( exskill look like a blade). Damage is incredibly high when land a successful combo.

I like how they switched his archetype from a block bot to a debuff bot. Seal seem really situational compared to debuff and power, especially EX skill wise. Using a 75 sec CD to block them to use their ults for 12 seconds is not really useful compared to that 10k damage debuff or the white curse.

I think that exdeath is pretty hard to master because you must switch mode often to make him dangerous. I use him about 3 times and i mainly use power mode combo with mighty strike exskill. Still like using Terra

Since apparently this isn't Exdeath role anymore does this game has any Blocking + Counter specialist ? I admit it was broken in the PSP games but I like that style of gameplay and with reworked and rebalance it could be fun to have. Got to admit tough Exdeath looks very tricky but fun to play.

Warrior of Light and Jecht has a counter block, other than that, there are only counter HP attack. (Firion, Bartz, Exdeath, Terra, Vaan have one)

When I saw "3 modes=3 ex skill", my mind instantly scream "HOLY SHIT....!!" I like this version, much better than duodecim version. He really is the complete opposite of Bartz (Bartz with his buff and Exdeath with his debuff).

In raw damage and potential you're totally right, but compared to white hole, a skilled player can minimise the effect of black hole by simply landing a HP attack and that the range of black hole doesnt seem very much further than melee. White hole in comparison is much more reliable at all times and require a simple BRV hit to take full effect for a whole 15 seconds without a way to dispel it. To top it off Black hole doesnt give the bravery stolen to exdeath so unless their tydus is sitting on 10k BRV I think white curse is the most relevant option out of the three MOST of the time. It also gives a bit of leeway on how to use it since you can go to power and benefit from the effects of the additional damage and the normal curse, making you a bit more efficient with almost no drawback whatsoever.

Well, it's depended on playstyle. My play style is mainly use power mode so i use black hole to cause break on large bravery enemy easily. But you are right, white curse is good to reduce enemy stat and make them feel sick :))). Anyway i just play him about 3 times so i try to play exdeath debuff type next time.

Debuff isn't flawless in fact. It's clearly the worse out of the 3 in neutral game, the reduced damage for that little debuff just isn't worth it until you have your ex skill. Seal mode is slightly more useful in this situation only because of the little upgrade to damage compared to debuff and that you can use it to contain a threat for a while like a Ramza or Kain. Mixing up is probably gonna give you better result.

Also, Gloom Charge instead of Groom Charge, and The Laws of the Universe Mean Nothing instead of Power of the Void (lit. The Laws of the Universe are Disturbed). Other than that, everything looks good.

That "The Laws of the Universe are Disturbed" was also in original DIssidia which is his Ex Burst. But in localize version, it change to Power of the Void instead.

He's kinda... less interesting now... In the original Dissidia he was basically just a fun dude to train counter-attacks.... yeah, he was a one-trick ponie, but he was unique and fun. Here he looks like pretty much any other guy... I mean look at his walk cycle in the original - it is almost funny how he is the slowest guy in the game. Uniqueness gone.
