Love the teaching, pastor. I like that you provide a download link to your handout which I availed myself of. A subscriber of mine led me here after my sharing my latest video how decrees protect me from hurricanes. After reading your useful handout, if you do not mind, I do want to add, to round this excellent teaching out further, is sometimes problems people experience are not from any sins but part of God's plan. Remember the blind man in John 9, whom the Lord explained was not born blind due to sin, but in order to later show God's works in him. And remember Paul in 2 Corinthians 12 explaining that he had to bear a thorn in his side because Jesus explained to keep Paul from sin actually, the sin of conceitedness from the revelations he was receiving. So it is important to understand there may be 'extenuating' circumstances some Christians may be experiencing challenges, and to always seek to understand the why we may have some hardship. Remember Paul's attitude when he understood it led to the Lord working powerfully in him, that instead of defeat, Paul reacted with delight to have such an affliction and to even boast of it, because it was an integral part of the Lord working through him. We have a complex God, whose ways are so much higher than ours, that we learn in 1 Corinthians 13 that now we know in part, and then (in heaven) we will know in full. Always, of course, it is good to walk in the victory of Christ, but we need to have awareness there may be other factors sometimes we are not to resist and we are not to see as defeat, which is so critical so that we do not allow the enemy a doorway he does not have in order to batter us into wrongly believing such blessings are from evil we've done, faults of our own, in hope that we wrongly despair even unto death, rather than see the privilege upon us so great that may be having us bear a physical issue integral to some work of the Lord. We don't want to have the wrong mindset if we are having such a godly exception that is part of some wise and wondrous plan of the Lord to use us for his glory in powerful ways beyond ordinary, for that would be fighting against the Lord, himself. Dear brother Cho, thank you for letting me remind that in every instance we have to acknowledge God, and that there may be something beyond our scope of immediate knowledge he is working in our life if we don't see turnarounds that would ordinarily come from repentance and walking new creations that is essential to abiding in Christ. And I wanted to add that, as this awareness will keep the enemy from causing false defeats on such believers who may be blessed with such ailments that are actually part of God working something great through their lives!
