Execution of Edmund Heines - Brutal NAZI SA Leader & Killer Murdered during Night of the Long Knives. dmund Heines, the illegitimate child of Helene Martha Heines, was born on 21 July 1897 in Munich, then part of the German Empire. His father was Lieutenant Edmund von Parish from a Hamburg merchant family, in whose service his mother was a nanny.
The First World War began on the 28th of July 1914. On the following year, Heines joined the Bavarian Army and fought on the Western Front as a field artillery operator. In the fall of 1915, he was severely wounded in the head, earned the Iron Cross 1st Class and 2nd Class, and was promoted to lieutenant of the reserve in 1918.
The First World War ended on the 11th of November 1918 when the German leaders signed the armistice in the Compiègne Forest in France.
In the new Weimar Republic, which was the name given to the German government from 1918 to 1933, Heines became involved in the Freikorps movement. In the aftermath of the First World War and during the German Revolution of 1918-1919, Freikorps, or independent paramilitary units, proliferated across Germany.
Composed primarily of World War I veterans returning from the war, the Freikorps fought against communists and other groups they believed were responsible for German defeat. Freikorps acted with particular brutality and violence and many of its units proved to be rebellious and difficult for the German government and military to control. By 1921, approximately 400,000 men were involved in Freikorps paramilitary groups. One of these groups was Freikorps Roßbach that fought in West Prussia and the Baltic States.
In March 1920, Heines participated in the Kapp Putsch which was an attempted coup against the German national government in Berlin on 13 March 1920. Its goal was to undo the German Revolution of 1918-1919, overthrow the Weimar Republic, and establish an autocratic government in its place. It was supported by parts of the Reichswehr - the German Army, as well as nationalist and monarchist factions.
After the failure of the putsch, members of the Freikorps went into hiding. In July 1920, Edmund Heines was involved in the murder of Willi Schmidt, a 20-year-old farm worker who allegedly wanted to reveal hidden arms caches of the disguised Freikorps.
Following Schmidt's murder, Heines returned to Munich and in 1922 became leader of the Munich Ortsgruppe, the local Freikorps Roßbach group. In December of the same year, Heines became Member #78 of the Nazi Party, and transferred his Munich Ortsgruppe to the Sturmabteilung or the SA, the Nazi paramilitary force also known as the Storm Troopers or the "Brownshirts" for the color of their uniform. He would soon become one of the SA's leading members.

Hitler needed the SA so chose to overlook that he never trusted Rohm or Heines He also overlooked the open homosexuality in the SA leadership for same reason. But in 1933, Hitler was institutionalising power both personally and with the Nazi Party. The SA now became a problem that had to be resolved. The Night of the Long Knives was the resolution.

From BDSM at the feet of his niece turned girlfriend... and ALL THOSE METH BASED DRUGS!! He's the poster boy for what happens when people take the rage out of their inner life onto the most religious people around them. The one thing I never understood is that facism is diametrically opposed to socialism. If you look at the 14 characteristics of Fascism it is an extreme right-wing ideology. So why did they call themselves the National Socialist party? In socialism the workers control the means of production, in facism the state and corporate interest control the means of production.

You kind of have to wonder what direction the party would have taken if the influence and power of the LGBT-inclusive SA had been stronger, enough to either win the power struggle or even just to merely prevail in spite of or without purge and bloodshed, or reached some sort of cohesion that would’ve been both acceptable to Hitler and either tolerant of or indifferent towards the element of homosexuality that had been practically thriving in the ranks of the SA for years. Something a lot of people don’t talk about anymore is the fact that libertine attitudes about sex were a trademark of German prewar culture even during the Third Reich, only truly ending with Die Endlosung and the actual implementation of the Holocaust.

The LGBT in the SA were just as ruthless as anybody. In fact, they were more ruthless because they rejected, like Hitler, Christian morality. You are not paying attention to the video. The sodomites had no problem murdering others.

The OPEN homosexuality of the SA had become a major liability. PLENTY of ideologically-correct homosexuals survived the Night of the Long Knives. Homosexuality was the EXCUSE, not the REASON, for the gays killed by the Nazis before and after that night.

They don’t talk about it because it isn’t true. _Beginning in the fall of 1939, gassing installations were established at Bernburg, Brandenburg, Grafeneck, Hadamar, Hartheim, and Sonnenstein. Patients were selected by doctors and transferred from clinics to one of these centralized gassing installations and killed. After public outrage forced an end to centralized killings, doctors instead administered lethal injections to those selected for "euthanasia" in clinics and hospitals throughout Germany. In this way, the "euthanasia" program continued and expanded until the end of World War II._ *Throughout Hitler’s regime homosexuals were sent to the concentration camps along with Gypsies. Jews and political rivals or resistance members not executed.*
@aysada

are you making some kind of connection between being gay and being a Nazi because there were concentration camps for gays as well. And as for supposing what might’ve happened, what possible purpose would that serve except to try to instill some kind of undeserved hate or feelings of ill will against gay people today? is it any different than blaming today’s generations for the mistakes, and the horrors perpetrated before the emancipation of slaves? Because asking that question carries some not so covert disdain. You don’t have to like gay people, but is there any reason why you have to actively hate on us?

The early NSDAP needed the organizational strength of the SA to grow, but it was a marriage of convenience doomed from the start. National Socialism was largely built upon - and drew much of its public appeal from - a rejection of the decadence, perversion, and sexual immorality of the Weimar years, and a return to traditional values. It could not long support homosexuality, especially open homosexuality, in its ranks.

This isn't true. A great many nazi's were perverts and sadists obviously. Hitler in fact shared a cell with this openly homosexual murderer for some time and probably took sexual pleasure with him as well. Which goes a long way towards explaining his outfits and mustache and effeminate looks after all.
