A point of realism should be taken off every single one because the flail would not do that. Its a ball on a string, not a mace. As soon as it hits something, it loses all momentum and goes limp, or bounces unpredictably.

Small detail I adore about the second Exe is that Conqueror uses the shield s/he carries to stop and redirect the momentum of h(is/er) flail before bringing it down to strike. On Spine Twister for Efficiency, I'd argue it's 4 for me. The way Conq turns and swings the flail creates a threat radius around them which well offsets the time it would take, and with the opponent already incapacitated by the shield strike to the throat, even without the follow up strike to finish, Conq could continue fighting other opponents and (if we allow for your criteria of "open battlefield" utility) a fellow combatant could quickly finish the downed opponent if Conq couldn't catch up to deliver the final blow. On Pop Top: I've seen a flail take the head off a sim torso. That was on horseback, at speed, and it hit straight into the neck and tore. But just standing and swinging? Hell no.

5:07 I noticed that Conq used the shield to stop the flail at the end of the strike by blocking it instead of working harder to reduce the momentum. I think that's pretty cool.

I do feel like the Dislocater would be a lethality 4 out of 4 because yes, you'd be able to treat an arm getting cut off but it's not cut off it's ripped off. The arm would've been unevenly torn making it kinda near impossible to stop the bleeding (If we take into the medieval time of For Honor). If it was a clean cut then yes, it would be totally survivable with the right help but I doubt the arm being torn off would be treatable because of the tissue being so damaged and not finely cut

They would probably apply a tourniquet and cut off part of the arm to create a smooth surface which you just risk to die from shock and pain as well as further blood loss despite the tourniquet

You could cauterize the wound if gotten to quickly enough. But the real problem starts after. We are burning the skin, flesh and Nerves to staunch the bleeding. You may be able to stop the bleeding but that warden would either die of infection or blood poisoning soon after I would think.

That's honestly harder to do than obliterating the skull. Since they would have to produce enough force to literally RIP the meat apart, and completely sever the spinal cord. All without the skull actually taking most of the force when getting directly hit.

For spiked punch and relisme, that punch wouldn't work cause the handel would start flying around the place and not stay back as nicely. I know from expierence I have tryed this move. The throw backward would take some skill, but it can be done like that. Also for the spikes on a flail I agree with you it's unlikely they dig in deep enough to actuely get stuck to the degree they show. I agree with you.

Raven when it comes to the flail getting stuck, you have to take physical strength into consideration, because if you hit something hard with some things, it might get stuck

When it comes to a flail, you have to consider the fact that the strength of the flail comes from velocity. This isn’t like an axe where the striking point is connected directly to the shaft you are holding. A flail’s striking point is on a chain and thus physical strength can only build velocity, but you can’t drive the flail deeper using your physical power like an axe or sword. Once the velocity and swinging force meets an obstacle, that’s it. There’s no more force to push it any further. This means flails will have a harder time embedding themselves in objects than an axe or a sword which can be driven deeper into an object thanks to physical exertion from the holder.

I would say that spine twister would get a realism score of 1 or 2 at best since it's impossible to send people flying with a flail, since there's no kinetic link from the body to the end of the flail to direct the force into the ennemy, it would only deflect.

Thing is, about the chain wrapping around the neck in Garrot, I don’t think that’s entirely necessary, because look at the size of conqueror’s flail head. That shit looks like it’s getting hooked around the bottom edge of warden’s helmet, and actually using that as leverage rather than the chain itself. If you grabbed warden by the bottom of his faceplate from behind and wrenched it to the side, or straight back, you could break the neck, assuming of course he has the chinstrap on and he’s flipped down the little hook thing that holds the visor of the traditional Barbuta helmet in place. But with unhelmed characters, or characters that don’t wear full helms like the Vikings, it wouldn’t be as effective. You might dislocate their jaw or something, but that’d be the worst of it.

I have to say, for the execution around the 8:00 mark, I heavily disagree on your point for efficiency, that shield bash was needed. If they didn't do that, the person couldn't have been flung because they would have been standing, which would've made it unrealistic. And the Conq would be turning their back to the enemy which is a big no no, and they could just back off if not winded from that throat chop and out of the reach of Conq

Yeah! My favorite Heavy and second favorite character (barely behind PK). Most likely low overall, his flail is very magnetic, and tends to take a while to wind up. As for lethality I think it'll generally be 3 or 4. And Cool... I don't know, I personally think the executions are cool and neat, though its by far the most subjective so I'll go with 2 for average.

alot of the effeciencies on the conq felt wrong to me, she is swinging the flail around her, keeping the shield close to her chest, she can take all the time she wants nobody gonna interrupt her due to her just swapping target with the flail and her lethality, all her killing moves are in the head so absolutely 100% lethal

I have to disagree, especially for a lot of the ones where she locks her chain around the opponents neck or arm. Also the long time she takes only stalls her from the battle, and she isn’t always swinging it around her for defense purposes. And as for hits to the head? No they are not 100% lethal all the time.

I really like Eat Dirt as an execution. The notion that you have to get back to combat quickly so instead of trying too hard to k*ll an opponent you just make sure they're no longer a threat before going back to the fight is interesting to me. K*ll an enemy and you will have taken out one foe, but if you wound them that takes THEM out of combat and whatever amount of people it takes to help them if they decide to help them. Pretty cool!

I feel he’s to harsh on the lethality grade because I feel the executions are mainly used to put them out of commission not kill, but they are literal executions so they should kill but if you take someone’s arm off on a battlefield they probably won’t try and fight back.

Lethality means to kill, he said it himself, it's not the "out of commission" grade, it's to KILL with NO CHANCE that the opponent can receive medical attention and survive.

I disagree sometimes with things like the head coming off or such in the context of the game world. These are fighters that can swing through multiple minions in a single swing so hitting someone with flail hard enough for the head to uhh..depart, or Goki slamming his Kanabo down on someone's chest being lethal is fine to me. But that's just me

Disagree; Besides, Afeera already wields a mace. On top of that, thematically, Conqueror being equipped with a flail actually plays into their lore: They're conscripted criminals, and because the flail is arguably just as dangerous to the wielder as it is to the target, it fits in with the whole position of Conquerors in the lore of For Honor.
