It has nothing to do with facts anymore. The world has changed, the international order based on rules has been abandoned by the key global players, and the U.S. are aligning to this reality. The political current that is represented by Trump believes that the damage to the U.S. capability of exerting soft-power globally is going to be vastly compensated by the hard, factual, strategic gains. Claims on Canada, Greenland and Panama may be inflated for transactional purposes, but the point remains: the U.S. no longer care about playing, nor even pretending to, according to international rules. Might is Right is the new logic for everyone.

China doesn’t control the Panama Canal? I know this, China didn’t build it, they didn’t pay for building it, and they didn’t sacrifice the lives to build it. I don’t know if we pay more fee fees or not? And really I don’t care. We built it, and now we control it. That’s all I need to know. Ask for Greenland, just the offer to buy it will allow the citizens of Greenland to definitely cut a better deal with the Dutch if it’s not a fair deal. I don’t need Greenland as a state, nor do I need Canada as a state.

So the poor younger generations (Zee's and Melemials) can't afford a house but instead buy plushies. As a late boomer I recall buying my first house and not being able to afford much else for years, stop the whining! As for Trump much more presidential this time around which was a great criticism is first time around.

There is between a 500-600% increase for houses, cars, education, food, cost of living even accounting for inflation Wages on the other hand have gone down nearly -40% adjusting for inflation since 1964
