1:03 Kind of a noob hunter though. I'd pop Scattershot, but maybe she wasn't MM specc'ed. And why would she even bother to Feign Death with that much hp left? I'd also make a "Target X" macro, and be sure to stay on him from range. It's important to keep the best pvp'er in the gy if possible.

I've been back and fourth on maining a Shaman ever since Classic got announced. Enhancement Shaman rally speaks to me, but after some testing I had big problems making it work in PvP on private servers. That in combination with no good PvP guides for any enchancement spec made me lose hope. Thanks for giving me a spark of hope.

In order for the squall ability to work constantly, you need things with the dexterity and sulfuras attribute.Namely, clothes for dexterity to get a crit and the ability to squall. So, the main attribute is dexterity.Alchemy. An oil that gives an amplification effect with a 15 percent chance of taking damage from the forces of darkness.

Troll would be a better option imo those moments where you need to heal could be capitalized on in restoration which can also give you extra armor if it crits plus if you tie it to berserking and the heal gets off (which it most likely will since its being cast 30% faster) you can use the remaining berserking seconds to swing faster (it *stacks* with flurry so that's 60% attack speed the crit chance can be compensated with some raid stuff and HoJ trinket) oh nvm this is a private server

Ya i'm so confused. The 25% amount blocked, is relating to how much you block with a shield and 1h. So that talent is literally useless, when 5% mana actually gives you something.........

enchantment shamans always use shield + 1h as a situational weapon set, probably gives more value then 5% mana on a class with low mana pool

You should only use a 1h and shield against melee classes in a 1v1 situation. Mainly rogues, so in my opinion I would rather have a skill for 5% mana that works for me all the time. Instead of a talent that only benefits shaman vs melee duels.

Hey man what are your thoughts on sod shaman ? Did you theorycraft anything tasty ? I'm thinking of going tanky utility with shield rune/water shield/shaman rage to assist a friend, taking advatange of the mana regen tools we now have. Also feel like ancestor's guidance can have massive burst potential, healing power trinkets + ns your fatest heal is so much instant tempo, between massively healing yourself/warrior friend and nuking a dangerous foe in a split second... what u got ? Damn, after watching this I think I really want to try Shaman in classic. All I really knew about it was "bIg wInDfUrY cRiTz" but, after watching a competent player talking out his thought process, I've realized the Shaman kit is just insane. Grounding, tremor, poison cleansing, earthbind. So much utility. It seems like a real thinking man's class too because you can't just react to stuff, you have to anticipate and be pre-emptive to use totems to their full potential. I enjoyed, thanks!

problem is that it is incredibly hard to to find gear. But luckily shaman is not that item dependent. They really just need a good weapon for damage. I think the main reason shaman seems OP is because most classes don't know how to fight them. For example, that hunter in the beginning. He scatter shot the shaman but he still choose FD+trap even though there was a Grounding Totem there. Most people just don't know how to deal with grounding totem or how it works. What the hunter should of done was scatter-> command pet to kill totem-> then FD trap. Mages that also fake cast to make you blow your earth shock and scorch to destroy your grounding totem gives you hell. Fun class but very 1 dimensional and imo over rated at how powerful they can be. But I do feel bad for other classes because they have to work much harder just to even the playing field because shaman is much easier to play

@@Newbtuber on the other hand, you could argue that your opponent constantly having to target swap to totems and kill them during a fight while also trying to prevent you from healing and not get smacked with windfury for a billion damage raises the skillcap required to beat you to such a ridiculous level that it makes you really strong. In other words, to place a totem a shaman has to push one button. To kill a totem takes much more time and work. Advantage shaman.

@@stevenkent5351 While that is a very specific situation, you're essentially putting in 5 talent points to vs rogues and thats it! and that is if you win against the rogue. You would only benefit from that if you have your shield on before the rogue does alot of dmg to you, and who sees rogues coming? ;) also, you can't really afford to slowly kill a rogue with enh/ele, unless youre enh/resto. Its better to just have the 5% more mana in all circumstances than 5 points into a shield which you rarely use. :)

They should proc weapon effects, as reckoning/WF give bonus melee swings. "On next swing" effects shouldn't work, but % chance proc items should.
