New York had a 100 wins and set the All-Time Team Hr Record. Houston had 103 wins, best ERA in the majors, and a historically good run differential. LA won two consecutive pennants, had statistically projected 100 win talent, and were Top 5 in the majors in both runs and the ERA. And none of them even got two wins in a series against the Sox. That is INSANE. We might never again see a postseason run this good.

hey12358y keep in mind, not only did Boston destroy 2 100 win teams. They also beat the runners up of the World Series last year who added players like Machado, Dozier etc. That’s even more insane. This team had one of the best post season runs of all time.

We need relief pitching bad, and a mid season addition that can light a spark like Pearce did last year, Eovaldi coming back to be our closer should help drastically.
@yuh32775 жыл бұрын
kyle dickey facts bro. They need a fifth starter too
@bosoxfan1315 жыл бұрын
@@yuh3277 I'd love to see them trade for a solid close like Brad Hand so they could eventually get Eovaldi back in the rotation, if he can pitch like he did last year, and Sale can finally get some run support, and Mookie starts hitting, this team will be fine.
@yuh32775 жыл бұрын
kyle dickey true. They just need a closer that can throw strikes and just be effective, like your example in brad hand

i knew when the dodgers advanced they were doomed. all year something was off about them compared to last year. they made it cause of the money and pure talent, but red sox are too complete of a team. Milwaukee would have made this series much more competitive.

Incorrect Austin. Brewers would have been swept 4-0. They have 2 good pitchers and an awesome closer and 2 consistent hitters. That’s it. Not enough to win even 1 game.

This team, ALMOST swept everybody in the post season, every other W was a slaughter (except 4-2 and 5-1) but those mattered the most. I don't think we will see another run as dominant as this one was. Also I live in fort worth texas, So i am happy to see mitch (also my name) finally getting a ring after being a old player gathering dust and he had a couple of big hits as well. Great Season and one ill remember forever GO BOSTON!
@kaitanaka39203 жыл бұрын
11:57 he said that Muncy will never have a hit as big as this one, as Muncy hits a grand slam to make it 11-0 1st inning vs Braves in 2020 NLCS

Even before the start of the season sports writers, fans and even Yankee players were bragging about how they were going to break the all time team home run record. And the Yankees did just that! So what is the problem? The Yankees got what they set out to do... The Red Sox had another goal in mind... another World Championship and they got that! So the off-season is here and the Yankees are trying to add more big bats to their line-up. Maybe they will break their own HR record (and finish 2nd again). Personally I'd trade home runs for Championships any day of the week and twice on Sunday! "Just keep the line moving"!!
