After attending the CMTA Physical Therapy Workshop in late 2017, CMTA Board Member Steve O’Donnell realized the tremendous need for a series of CMT physical therapy-centered exercise videos. As an avid and committed workout enthusiast, Steve has seen first-hand the crucial role fitness plays in slowing the progression of CMT symptoms.
Steve has partnered with renowned Physical Therapist/Neurologic Clinical Specialist Mike Studer to create a comprehensive fitness program for all levels and abilities that focuses on the following five areas: Flexibility, Balance, Strengthening, Endurance and Function. Please take the time to watch these videos and participate at your level. When you have mastered that level, challenge yourself to take your function to the next level. It is Steve’s hope that this workout will inspire you to get moving!

I had severe neuropathic pain in my feet for years due to CMT. My doctor injected botox through out my feet and for the first time in decades my pain is completely gone for over a year.

Im father for a beautiful son have charcot Marie tooth actually he iz 8 years ago so i asked if you can help me for videos for child exercises. Thanks

While I appreciate this, the music is too distracting. Please at least lower the volume if you do make more. I hope you do make more videos.

Of course it’s appreciated, some of the exercises need to be worked on maybe in a slower fashion and please don’t extend everything that’s being said too much, I know people need explanations but there is a lot of talking in a couple of videos not necessarily the exercise ones
