I’m obese and ordered this machine because I got circulation problems and carry a lot of my weight in my legs so this is working for me and helping my swelling in my legs and giving me more energy to move around so I consider this elliptical life changing I’m losing weight and I’m very excited to see how much weight I’m going to lose in a month and beyond it’s a great tool for overweight people to do a low impact beneficial exercise on the daily.

I got one and I love it. I am a senior citizen and don't feel safe walking outside .So I got one and I use it everyday for one hour I am hoping I can do more time but taking it slow with my health problems..I am at level 3 I've had it for 6 months.

I got this for my mother in law who is 90 years old. Because of her back pain, she can't walk much. So, this is an excellent low impact machine, right size for her tiny studio apartment, to work out her lower body while sitting, without back pain. This machine is pricy, but it is much better quality than other less expensive models which start squeeking soon after and require ongoing maintenance. Hence, if you are young and have the know how and energy to do your own maintenance, get a less expensive machine. But, if you are old like my mother in law, go for this one ($200 at Costco, according to a comment below). Thank you

Do these actually give users a workout? It looks really really easy to use. (I suffer from chronic pain, due to unstable joints and was thinking about getting this, because I find it very hard to walk or exercise outside in winter.) It does cost over $300 in Canada and I’m just not sure if it’s worth it.

When you say there are machines like this that you can stand on, are you talking about full sized elliptical machines or is there something similar to this (smaller sized) that one could stand on and use? It would be nice to find something with a small footprint that would be weight bearing exercise.

@@sherazade5127 the Stamina E1000 works perfectly fine and it's less expensive so I'd go with that one. Both products are good, but the Stamina is a better price.

I own Cubii JR2 but I need to understand how to set the time

I am awaiting total hip replacement surgery, and wll need rehab later. My concern is the 90 degree angle limitation between the body and the thigh. If less than 90 degrees, there is a danger of the new ball coming out of the socket. Is this machine recommended for new hip rehab? Thanks.

It could work for a total hip replacement. If you sit far enough way and your chair is high enough then you won’t bend more then 90 degrees at your hip. Try adding a cushion to your chair for added height. Use low resistance to start and let pain be your guide. It typically takes two of the precaution motions to dislocate a hip replacement and a lot of force. Not super common, but yes we’ve worked with people who’ve dislocated their new hip before. We’ve never seen one dislocated with a machine like this though.

If you are using a desk chair they go under the front wheels so it does not roll when using the Cubii

video says under desk yet you dont test it UNDER A PROPER PURCHASED PC DESK, we PC users want to know if your legs bang the table underside ! Cubii dont state the heel height and without that we have to buy then find out the hard way. Come on place it under a PC table with a wheelie chair.

This looks rubbish. This is not a cycling action. Your heel stays the same distance from the ground due to the silly little rollers. The crank distance is too short. All you are doing is flexing your toes. What more junk will they show us.

You need to move your feet to the end of the pedal (away from your seat) to get a better stretch and to get more of your leg muscles involved
