I think it's an M240B, so 7.62mm NATO rounds would be my guess.

it's really sad that we removed the ones that opposed radical Islam and also supplying the radicals like ISIS/Al-Nusra etc. , Mujahedin/Al-Qaeda. Our foreign policies have caused nothing but destruction for so many people including our own. It's not only the US, but other NATO countries have contributed greatly as well.

Nusra does not point a threat to us, they threathen the people of Syria, our threat is from within it is from Nationalist egos very similar to people like Nusra or JFS as they are known by now, AQ is enraged pan-arabism...Islam is simply a concept of national romanticism. In Syria they have grown strong, not because of intervention but because of the lack of it...theyr revoltion is one that turned from hope to rage.

Listen up! I'm not attacking the skills and the willingness to serve of these soldiers. What I'm debating is the US and it's NATO allies policy. We have been conducting a foreign policy for decades that has been an utter failure. The explosion of radical Islam is just one example. When it comes to Russia there are loads of evidence and information out there that explains Russian actions in Georgia and Ukraine if you care to look. It's mainly because of our actions we see an ever unstable world. A war with Russia would only bring devastation and broken dreams to Europe. It's like some people here think it's a game. Even if NATO won, Europe would be in ashes and the sights of WW2 would bleak in comparison.

Increase by who? NATo is spreading all around the globe and threaten Russia and it's allies every days ! So what would you expect ? They doesn't give up while nazis invade their territory and kill millions of their citizens and soldiers, they just don't want to be slaughtered again. A 5 yo child could easily undrestand that ! If NATO want to conduct excersise why don't go to the US or anywhere else to make them, it's not like if NATO lacks of member countries far from Russia to conduct these excercises.
@GeneralBlackNorway
@GeneralBlackNorway 8 жыл бұрын
Borkil LeBoucher Well in WW2 what is todays NATO members would help out against the Nazies and were allied with Russia. NATO have many exercises in different member countries, can't Norway host an exercise because Russians are paranoid? Russia could also keep their exercises away from us, but they don't so we must be allowed to exercise near the borders too.
@damsb.6078
@damsb.6078 8 жыл бұрын
Keep their excercise away from you? But who started this crazy escalation if this ain't NATO ? Again since WWII NATO have build more and more bases throughout the world and around Russia, so why shouldn't they have the right to defend themselves? You mention the point Russia was our allies, and your right, but they are still our allies today ! They fight terrorism with us, why would you spend your time, your money and your energy to fight an ally, instead of fighting the REAL threat: ISIS, Al Qaida, and all these crazy motherfucker. I think today Norway and Europe in general MUST discuss with Russia instead of voting these stupid and useless sanction wich is lead our countries to economical collapse, because Russia is a big partner of Europe. So for me the solution is diplomatic more than military.
@GeneralBlackNorway
@GeneralBlackNorway 8 жыл бұрын
Borkil LeBoucher NATO has not been fighting Russia at all. And after the world war there was something called the Cold War. It ended with the Soviet Union dissolving. Now Russia has started building up it's military and used it in questionable ways. You can't say EU or NATO is an aggressor. When people join you peacefully out of their own will it's not aggression. When your military is wading through the country it becomes rather questionable. Russia has got what it deserved for the actions they have taken. They cant blame it on some western conspiracy to destroy them. The current general secretary of NATO was prime minister of Norway. He negotiated our maritime boarders with Russia in the Barens Sea. So don't come saying we wont work with Russia or that we are unreasonable.
