The fact its British troops is not surprising giving the US - UK relationship but giving Japan and the UKs history it beyond important because it harkens back to better times reconnecting that relationship.

No comparison, the Ghurkas were deployed in every conflict for the last 200 years and earned themselves the reputation as being tough as nails and fearsome warriors in hand to hand combat while the Japanese have been a pacifist nation since they lost WW2.

Whoever is in charge of the audio didn't do a very good job. The music is nice but loud and the voice of the people talking is super quiet, so you just can't hear what people are saying. The entire video is all very cinematic and just made to look beautiful and dramatic, but you can't hear what people are saying.

Japanese society is officially tolerant of LGBT people. However, it is also true that there are people all over the world who have similar conservative feudal values. Furthermore, in order to make legal same-sex marriage a reality, Japan's constitution must be amended. “Constitution of Japan, Article 24, Paragraph 1: “Marriage is established solely on the basis of the consent of both sexes, and must be maintained through mutual cooperation on the basis that husband and wife have equal rights.” Therefore, in order to accept LGBT people in the Japanese military, a constitutional amendment will be necessary. This must be initiated, proposed to the people, and approved. This approval requires the approval of a majority of the people in a special referendum or an election established by the Diet.'' So it's quite difficult.

Is this supposed to be a documentary about joint training between two armies, or a work of art? It's too much the latter, and comes across as being pretentious. As such, it's disrespectful to those who agreed to be filmed.
